Breaking Free, Loving Again -The Flash Marriage with Mr. CEO novel Chapter 631

Chapter 631: Don’t defend the obvious.

Zenith nodded. And she moved to follow him.

But her steps paused when Ryan halted a step ahead of her. Her gaze flicked to look towards Delyth, who had held his arms again right when he was about to walk past her.

"Fine, I agree," Delyth spoke with some firmness in her tone. And Ryan turned his head to the side to look at her. She wasn’t looking at him, but when she felt his gaze, she snapped her eyes towards him. "I agree to leave the country. Isn’t that what you want?"

"..." Ryan did speak, and Delyth sniggered at his silence.

Letting go of his hand, she chuckled, "Don’t look at me like that, Ryan. I am not a fool. Of course, I can tell what this sham was all about. It’s all to make me leave the country. Isn’t it?"

"You take too much credit, Delyth," Ryan finally spoke, shifting a little on his feet to turn and face her. "I don’t need to put up any sham to cast you out of the country, I have several ways to do that effortlessly. If you haven’t known this yet, it’s too bad."

Delyth gritted. She knows it well. But apart from this reason, no other reason made sense. "I said I am ready to leave. The rest doesn’t matter."

"You are still too full of yourself to realize what you just lost." He shook his head in criticism.

"What do you mean?"

Ryan stared at her for a moment longer before finally telling. "I made Zenith cancel all the arrangements I had made for you abroad. What do you think I meant when I asked her to do that?"

She didn’t want to guess, nor did she feel she could afford it. However, she had already done.

Swallowing the lump of fear down, she stubbornly said, "She only cancelled it. You can make her arrange it all over again. It won’t be difficult."

"Yes, it won’t be difficult," Ryan nodded, and Delyth was about to hum; however, just then he continued, "But it’s not her job, nor is it required anymore."

"It’s required, Ryan," Delyth half yelled, controlling her urge. "I said I am willing to leave. Please ... please arrange it."

"And I said, I won’t be any more responsible for you, Delyth," Ryan’s words came equally firm and unyielding. "I came here just to make this clear to you. To unburden myself. So ... fend for yourself."

She was about to speak, but he no longer waited to hear. Walking past her, he simply left the place.

Zenith also followed him.

Behind them, Delyth kept on calling out, begging. However, none of her calls were answered. Losing it all, she could only slump on the floor in devastation.

She was done for ... completely done for.

Outside —

Ryan didn’t wait for Zenith to catch up with him. He simply walked ahead, fuming. He felt like an idiot.

How had he ever thought Delyth was someone kind and innocent?

Over the years, she kept tricking him, and like a dimwit, he was never able to tell.

His fingers fisted in anger, and he slammed them hard against the hood of the car. The surface reverberated under the effect of a sharp sting spread through his hand.

But he didn’t wince, nor did he care. His expression just remained hard.

"I was such a ..." he was about to say something, however, paused, realizing it missing.

He turned back to check, and his brows furrowed further, not finding any trace of Zenith around.

Did I leave her behind?
