Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 175

Sebastian apologizing? The sun must be rising in the west. Too bad she didn't need it.

"Don't worry about it. It's not like you were ever going to help me anyway. Go comfort your precious lover." Natalie shot a cold glare at Joanna. Disgusting.

Joanna returned it with a venomous look of her own. Natalie had gotten smarter, more beautiful. The old tricks wouldn't work anymore; she needed a new plan. Ever since Natalie had woken up at her birthday party, she was like a different person. Not only was she more beautiful, but her stunning face was captivating, her bright eyes filled with intelligence and spirit. Any man would be mesmerized by a woman like that.

Natalie and Luna went inside. Just then, a concerned voice called out from behind them.

"Natalie."

She turned to see Matthew and smiled. "Oh! Mr. Big Shot."

Matthew was dressed in a sleek black suit, his aura composed and powerful. The lines of his face were sharp and strong, his gaze steady and incredibly charming.

"Natalie, I saw the live stream and rushed over," he said, his voice laced with worry. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?"

"I'm fine. Just a little scheme from a pathetic couple. Things like that can't hurt me. They'll only get hit back harder." The day Natalie decided to declare war was the day she promised Joanna would never have another peaceful moment.

Joanna narrowed her eyes. She'd like to see what tricks Natalie had up her sleeve.

Natalie met Joanna's gaze with a meaningful smile of her own. She had already gotten Marshall on her side. Now that Larry was out of the picture, Joanna would be looking for her next loyal dog. Natalie knew who that boy was—a young genius. This time, she wouldn't let Joanna get to him first. She would find him and bring him over to her side.

Their eyes met, Joanna's full of malice, Natalie's calm and confident.

Matthew glanced at Sebastian and Joanna, then turned back to Natalie. "Natalie, I brought you something to eat. I heard you didn't have much for breakfast. My chef makes an excellent breakfast; come try some."

"And it's been dangerous for you lately. I'll drive you to and from work from now on. We're on the same route anyway."

"This was all Natalie's plot to frame me! Why won't you believe me when you used to love me so much?" Joanna cried before turning and running away.

Sean frowned. What a masterclass in manipulation. If he ever went up against a woman like that, he'd be chewed up and spit out without a trace.

...

Back in his office, Sebastian couldn't stop picturing Matthew and Natalie eating together in her office. They seemed to have hit it off. He slammed his fist on the desk. Why hadn't he helped Natalie earlier?

Sean stood by, his head bowed low. Sebastian's anger was terrifying.

After a long silence, Sebastian finally spoke. "Sean, what do I have to do to make Natalie not divorce me?"

Sean was bewildered. "Boss, I don't get you. Weren't you the one who wanted a divorce all this time? Ms. Sanders has torn up more than a dozen of your divorce agreements. Now that she's the one asking for it, why won't you let her go?"
