Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 196

What happened this morning?

“Come in and have breakfast.”

Sebastian’s voice was low as he hung up.

Sean suddenly had no desire to go inside. How could he eat with that block of ice? But he had no choice.

The door was ajar, so Sean walked in. Sebastian was already at the dining table, eating.

Pancakes, steak, milk—all his favorites. The breakfasts Natalie had prepared for him had always been perfect.

When had everything changed?

It had all started when Joanna came back. Her schemes had only worked because of his indulgence.

Sean sat down, smiling at the sight of the delicious spread. “Thank you for breakfast, sir.”

Sebastian took a bite of black pepper steak. “Did you look into what I asked you about last night?”

“Sir, you were right,” Sean said. “The Spencer family’s branch companies are in trouble, but they can’t find the cause. Marshall has been at the branch trying to sort it out, but he’s had no luck. They’ve already lost two major contracts. It’s a shame.”

Sebastian’s eyes narrowed. Natalie had been right. He lowered his gaze and continued eating.

Sean’s eyes widened, and he nearly teared up.

“Sir! Congratulations, you’ve finally come to your senses! Before Joanna came back, you and Mrs. Spencer were so happy. When you couldn’t see and couldn’t walk, it was incredibly difficult to care for you.”

“But she worked tirelessly every day, giving you acupuncture, bathing you, feeding you medicine, and cooking for you. She never stopped. And in Joanna’s eyes, all that effort was just the work of a glorified nurse.”

Sean finished his breakfast with a smile, then called a cleaning crew to remove all of Joanna’s belongings.

Natalie arrived at her office, fuming. The shameless behavior of Sebastian and Joanna had infuriated her. After Joanna returned, she had constantly interfered in their lives. Natalie had given Sebastian so many chances, but he only had eyes for Joanna. Even though she no longer loved him, the memories still made her angry.

She threw open her office door and froze, a murderous rage building in her eyes.
