Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 295

Sean didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. “Sir, I don’t know if they’re a perfect couple, but I do know you came here to brag about how beautiful your granddaughter is.”

“Hah! Every family has its treasure, and my Natty is ours. Of course I want her to be happy. Now, since your boss is out cold, just take his hand and sign the papers for him. Technically, it’ll be his hand signing it.”

Sean was on the verge of tears. He finally understood why his boss had fainted. This old man was relentless. “Sir, I can’t do that! The boss and Ms. Sanders have already signed a divorce agreement. They just haven’t finalized the paperwork. It’s already been signed; they just need to complete the process.”

The old man’s eyes narrowed. “Fine. Then I’ll hire some men to kidnap him and drag him down to the courthouse.”

Sean’s blood ran cold. “…” He couldn’t let that happen. “Sir, my boss has fainted! Please, just give him a break. When he wakes up, I’ll talk to him, I promise. We can’t drag an unconscious person to get a divorce. He might actually die before we even get there.” If they really did that, Sean knew he’d be finished once his boss woke up.

“Hmph! When he wakes up, you tell him to finalize this divorce immediately. If he stalls any longer, don’t blame this old man for getting nasty. The only man I’ll accept as my grandson-in-law is Matthew. His grandfather and I get along splendidly.”

With a final huff, the old man stormed out.

Sean let out a huge sigh of relief. “Sir? Sir, are you okay?” he whispered. After a few seconds, Sebastian’s eyes fluttered open. Sean breathed another sigh of relief.

“What’s wrong with being from the country? Go back three generations, and who isn’t descended from farmers? You look down on farmers, yet you eat the food they grow. If you think you’re so superior, why don’t you eat concrete instead of vegetables?” Natalie shot back, despising his smug attitude.

Her words left him speechless for a moment. He glared at her. To be honest, if she weren’t so malicious, he might have actually liked having such a beautiful sister. Of all the siblings, the two of them looked the most alike. But Natalie wasn’t like their father at all.

“It’s all your fault, Natalie. You’re the reason our family is in turmoil. You never should have come back. Joanna will always be our princess. You are nothing.” He was still fuming about his mother kicking him out last night, and he blamed Natalie for it.
