Natalie's eyes narrowed in fury. "What did you say? What have I done to embarrass you? If anyone's embarrassing the Scott family, it's you, with your vicious, selfish behavior!"

He choked on his words, his face darkening. He pulled out his phone and showed her the news. "See for yourself. Everyone says you're not qualified to be the design director, that you slept your way to the top. Didn't you drop out of high school?"

Natalie stared at him for a moment. Although she hadn't expected anything from him, hearing such words from her own brother still sent a pang of pain through her heart. She glanced at his phone; the internet was filled with articles attacking her.
