Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 363

She was confident in setting up Marshall here because she had already hired someone to erase all traces of her past misdeeds. He had no proof against her for what she'd done to the old matriarch.

Dealing with an arrogant young master like Marshall was simple.

Mr. Wilson’s cloudy eyes glinted with calculation. If he could get Marshall into a police station, the resulting scandal would deal a heavy blow to the Spencer family, especially while the old woman’s son was still abroad. The timing was perfect. Growing the numbers in your bank account always required a bit of blood; it was the law of the jungle in the business world.

He said, “Don’t worry, Joanna. I’ve already called the police. With Mr. Griffith and me here to support you, you’ll be fine.” Mr. Wilson smiled at Sebastian, who stood across from them.

Joanna whispered, “Thank you.”

Sebastian remained silent on the sidelines, a bystander to the chaos. His tall, elegant posture belied the storm raging in his eyes, which were cast downward, filled with a chilling ferocity that made it impossible to look at him directly.

When Natalie glanced his way, he met her gaze, but all she saw in his was pure hatred.

Joanna had exploited the situation perfectly. The dress in his car had actually been for Natalie. He couldn’t figure out how Joanna knew he had a dress of the same color in his trunk, or how a drink managed to spill on her just before they met Mr. Wilson. Joanna knew he would provide her with a change of clothes—it was something he used to do often. But this time, he'd prepared it for Natalie, who would have looked beautiful in pink. Yet, Joanna had ended up wearing it.

“She’s targeting you because of your status. It will cause a huge scandal and boost her fame. Mr. Wilson and Sebastian will also try to interfere, so you have to be careful.”

Marshall was stunned. So that was her game. “Natalie, thank you,” he said, full of regret. “Help me take care of Grandma. I’ll be fine, don’t worry about me.” He had failed to heed her constant warnings to be wary of Joanna. That woman was just too cunning.

Natalie gave him a reassuring look, and as she watched him being led away, a bleakness settled over her. Joanna was dead set on destroying the Spencer family.
