A murderous glint appeared in Sebastian’s eyes. Had he misunderstood Natalie again?
He spun around to look at her. Her face was calm, her beautiful eyes as still as a frozen lake.
Sebastian’s world tilted. He had wronged her again?
Marshall immediately understood what was happening. Joanna was trying to frame Natalie again.
“Tsk, Joanna. So you knew I was coming for you and hired these two actors, deliberately letting me catch them so you could frame Natalie. How can you be so vicious?” Marshall narrowed his eyes at her.
Joanna was dumbfounded. Those bastards. Utterly useless!
She burst into tears and tried to explain. “Mr. Spencer, it’s not like that, you have to listen to me! They’re the ones who identified Natalie! It has nothing to do with me!”
Queena scoffed. “Identified? When you bought them off, you should have at least given them a picture of Natalie. Then they wouldn't have mistaken the person, and your little act wouldn’t have fallen apart so easily.”
Joanna glared at Queena. Who is this woman? She's beautiful. That’s why I want Natalie dead—I'm jealous of her beauty.
“Who are you? This is my home. You have no right to speak here.”
Queena laughed, her stunning face radiant and her eyes glinting with a strange light. “I’m the ‘Natalie’ they’re talking about. The subject of this whole charade. Are you telling me I don’t have the right to speak?”
Joanna shot daggers at her.
