Juliet nodded, stood up, grabbed her phone, and switched off the screen. Her tone was quiet, composed.

"I'm going now."

Cynthia followed her out of the study. As they climbed the stairs, she slipped her arm through Juliet's and spoke softly.

"I'm leaving for my business trip to Cloudcrest City tomorrow."
