Benedict rushed out just in time, catching Dominic before he could get into the car.
He tried to steady himself, but his steps were still a little unsteady.
"Mr. Holloway," he called out.
Dominic stopped and turned to look at him.
Benedict walked up, extending his hand, his demeanor far less arrogant than it had been in front of the other business partners.
"Mr. Holloway, you might not know this, but Cynthia's been busy these days preparing for our wedding, so she hasn't been around the office much."
"I'll come by personally tomorrow to sign the contract with you. In the future, if you need anything from VistaSphere Group, you can contact me directly."
He took out his phone, ready to add Dominic's number.
Dominic stood there quietly, a picture of composure, in stark contrast to Benedict's unsteady swaying.
"Mr. Shepard, you've had too much to drink. Let's talk business another day."
"I'll be signing the contract with Miss Tremaine, as agreed. But of course, I'll reach out to you for any VistaSphere Group matters going forward."
Assistant Frank had arrived at the restaurant as soon as Cynthia called at the start of dinner. He'd been waiting in the car ever since, awaiting further instructions.
Cynthia shot Frank a look. He immediately stepped forward, trying to steady Benedict.
But Benedict refused, yanking his arm away.
"I'm not drunk, Mr. Holloway. I'm not drunk! I'm perfectly clear-headed. VistaSphere Group is—"
Dominic didn't wait for him to finish. He simply ducked into the car.
Benedict tried to grab him, but Assistant Shaw closed the door, shutting him out.
"Mr. Shepard, we'll leave it here for tonight," Shaw said curtly.
