Vanessa also walked up to the computer screen. She pushed the other salesperson aside and started operating the computer herself. Her frown grew deeper and deeper as time progressed.

Lisa noticed this and wondered if she'd found something on Isabella. She asked hurriedly, "How is it? Is something wrong with her membership?"

Vanessa replied, "She applied for membership in 2023 but didn't make any purchases when she applied. She also hasn't made any purchases in the last two years!"

"Where did her card come from, then?" Lisa asked excitedly. "Check and see if it's a fake!"

"It can't be a fake as everything is recorded in the system," another salesperson replied.

They were no longer as enthusiastic toward Lisa as before. After all, it was clear whose side they'd rather be on between an ordinary customer who didn't even have a membership and a VIP customer with a Black Card.

Unconvinced, Lisa pressed, "An error could've occurred with the system, right? Isn't there a rule that membership level would be downgraded if no purchases are made within a year? Even if she was a Black Card member back when she first applied, why is she still a Black Card member when she hasn't recorded any expenditure for two years?"

"That's…" Vanessa was also confused about that and could not answer Lisa's question.

Seeing her silence, Lisa became even more confident and declared arrogantly, "You two should cancel her membership!"

"That won't do! We have direct instructions from our superior. If Ms. Moore really is a VIP customer, we can't afford to offend her!"

Lisa laughed and said sarcastically, "How's that possible? We were once colleagues, so I know she lived in Hollow Creek! I heard that she's adopted, and her adoptive parents don't show her special treatment either.

"She usually wears clothes cheaper than a hundred dollars, so where would she get the money for a Vellichor membership? For all we know, she might've borrowed someone else's card to intimidate us! Several of the salespeople glanced at each other upon hearing Lisa's words. For a moment, they couldn't make up their minds.
