Cold Husband Burning Regret: The Divorce He Couldn't Handle novel Chapter 447

A chill ran down Charlotte's spine. Her palms grew sweaty. *Does he recognize me?*

Sensing her unease, Norene quickly interjected, "I'm just having coffee with a colleague. I'll be back soon!"

Neely's gaze shifted away, his expression returning to normal. "As long as you and Finnick are happy, that's all that matters. I have some business to attend to, so I'll leave you to it."

An urgent thought occurred to her. "Norene, can you get me a copy of the wedding guest list?"

"I can try," Norene said, hesitating. "But what for?"

"You don't actually want to marry him, do you?"

"Of course not!" Norene sighed. "But my parents won't call it off. I don't have a choice."

"It's just a hunch, but if the wedding is a trap like you said, then you won't actually become husband and wife. I don't know what he's planning, but…"
