Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1531

Color began draining from Fiona's face when she saw the woman at the door. She was startling, she froze at the door.

Yancie ran her hand through her hair frivolously before she asked, "Is Kaleb at home?"

Fiona nodded reluctantly.

"Then hurry up and make way for me!"

At this point in time, Fiona was yet to know that Kaleb had abandoned Yancie. All she knew was that Yancie was the mistress that Kaleb had been spending most time with. Fiona could not afford to offend Yancie, otherwise she was the one who was going to suffer.

Recalling the painful lessons she learned in the past, Fiona stumbled backward and made way for Yancie hastily.

Yancie let out an arrogant snort before marching into the house with her pair of high heels. She soon spotted two people sitting in the hall.

The older one did not seem to notice her presence as he had his eyes on the television. It was the young one who beamed and greeted her, "Sis Cabeza!" "Sis Cabeza?"

Kaleb was sitting opposite to Brittany. He could not have heard Brittany any clearer. He subconsciously turned around to look at the person whom Brittany greeted. In the next second, he jumped up from his seat and exclaimed shockingly, "Yancie? Why are you doing here?!"

At the same time, he was perplexed at the way Brittany addressed Yancie.

At the sight of Kaleb's expression darkened as he stared at her, Brittany asked innocently, "Uncle, is there anything wrong?"

Kaleb baffled, "Do you two know each other?"

Brittany replied admittingly, "Of course we do! She is Sis Cabeza. She dropped by a few days back and claimed herself as one of your friends."

Squinting, Kaleb asked, "She dropped by before? How do I not know about this?"

"Eh! Didn't Aunt tell you?" A couple of words from Brittany had the effect of diverting Kaleb's suspicion and anger towards Fiona.

"Fiona!" Kaleb hissed spitefully as he glared at his wife.

Fiona immediately lowered her head and explained inaudibly, "I thought that Ms. Cabeza would call and tell you..."

Kaleb burst out laughing hysterically. Had Brittany not around, he would have beaten Fiona up and taught her a lesson by this time!

"Kaleb, we're all acquaintances. Aren't you supposed to invite me to take a seat?" Despite saying so, Yancie found her way to a chair and sat down gracefully. She even made herself home by lighting up a cigarette as soon as she sat down.

Kaleb was fuming at the sight of this. Suppressing his anger, he turned around and said, "Brittany, I need a moment with her. Can you go back to your room first? And don't forget to close your door."

"Sure." Brittany nodded obediently and left with her phone.

Kaleb then pulled a face and shouted at Fiona ruthlessly, "You! Get lost!"

Then, Fiona fled to her room at lightning speed.

After hearing the noise of doors shutting, it was only then Yancie blew a smoke ring in the air. Eyeing Kaleb narrowly, she mocked, "You're scared that your niece may come to know your dirt, that's why you chased her back to her room, am I right?"

Kaleb asked sternly, "What did you tell her the last time you were here?!"

Yancie replied smilingly, "Give it a shot."

Kaleb could not clenching his fists. "You!"

"Let me warn you first. Please be polite to me. There's nothing left between us. You're no longer my sugar daddy. So show some respects and address me as Ms. Cabeza."

Sneering coldly, Kaleb insulted her ruthlessly, "Oh really? But you're only an escort in my eyes. You don't deserve my respect."

Yancie was not offended by his humiliation. She continued to look at him and say, "Kaleb, I'm not here for arguments. In fact, I'm here to make a deal with you."

Kaleb snorted. "I don't want to deal with you whatever it is."

Yancie patted the couch next to her in gesture of inviting him to take a seat. She then said smilingly, "I can assure you that you'll be interested to know."

Kaleb took his seat reluctantly and warned her, "I won't entertain you if it's about money or the house."

Yancie sneered, "Hold your horses! You can come to that conclusion later."

With that said, she rummaged in her bag before taking out a phone. After a few taps on the screen, she handed the phone over to Kaleb.

Kaleb took the phone ruthlessly. All he could see was a video clip being played on the screen.

There was a man lying idly on a couch in the video. At the same time, a woman who dressed up coquettishly was about to bring a glass of water to him. It was at this time when the man pulled her over and began making out with her.

The woman looked more tempting than ever after getting overwhelmed by his kisses. She grunted flirtatiously, "I thought that you're drunk! You'll never have enough of me, don't you?"

The man looked at the woman and murmured tipsily, "I get carried away every time I see you! Don't move! You're so delicious. Let me take another few more bites of you."

The man seized her delicate lips for another moment before something came into his mind. He glanced up all in a sudden and rummaged in his pocket. It took him a while before he took out a jewelry box and threw it at the woman.

How dare you to call me a fool?!"

Kaleb wished nothing but to break her head off her neck at this moment. Nonetheless, he came to a juncture where he had to decide whether to risk his future and kill the woman in front of him.

In the split of second, Kaleb got the answer for himself. All in a sudden, he released his grips on Yancie's neck. Clenching his fists tighty, he kept both of his hands at his back.

As soon as she had been released, Yancie's legs went numb and she fell right onto the floor. She could not stop coughing for air to the extent that she began tearing up. Meanwhile, Kaleb witnessed her suffering coldly as if he was a mere bystander.

It took Yancie a moment before she could help herself up with the support of the couch next to her. Although she almost lost her life some time ago, she was glad that her instinct was right this time. After all, Kaleb would not risk doing anything that might deprive him of his wealth and future.

Bottling up his anger, Kaleb blasted, "What the hell do you want?"

Covering her neck still, Yancie struggled to reply him while grasping for air, "Ugh! Don't tell me... That you don't know what I want."

Kaleb's expression darkened as he finally asked sternly, "How much money do you want?"

There was not even a hint of hesitation when Yancie demanded, "Four million dollar!"

Kaleb had never expected that Yancie would be such a greedy woman to demand for a fortune all in a sudden. After all, a total amount of four million dollar was certainly way too much for a woman like her!

It was as if Yancie could read his mind at this moment. She muttered spitefully, "Had you not sold my house at my back, I wouldn't have asked for this much of money! All I want for now is to take back my portion! I deserve what is rightfully mine!"

"Your portion?" Fuming, Kaleb could not help bellowing, "Excuse me! It was all my money! Don't you forget that the house is registered under my name! As the sole legal owner, I have every rights to decide on the disposal of the house!"

"This wasn't what you told me back then!" As far as her welfare was being concerned, Yancie had no other choice to fire back defensively, "I had stayed by your side for so many years, not to mention that I had to undergo two abortions because of you! Anyone in his conscience would have pitied me for the hell amount of tragedies I've been through! All I asked was for you to provide a roof over my head when I'm getting older day by day! But what did you do to repay me instead? Not only did you abandon me, but you went back on your words!

You're the reason that I become homeless! It's because of you that my life becomes miserable!"

"That's enough!" Kaleb interrupted her impatiently. He got so carried away by frustration that his voice turned horrendous, "Tell me now! Since when did you install surveillance camera at home?!"

Yancie replied coldly, "From the time you failed to compensate me after getting me to abort our first child."

Kaleb could not help blasting, "B*tch! I shouldn't have saved you from the nightclub at the very first place and wasted so much money on you for the following years! You're no more than a b*tch that deserves to rot in the nightclub! You're so pathetic that you're supposed to open up your legs to whoever men that wish to sleep with you..."

Yancie merely listened to his humiliating speech expressionlessly. It was until Kaleb finally ran out of words that she said at last, "Four million dollar. It's either you pay me the money or I air your dirty laundry!"

Yancie was not deterred by Kaleb's murderous stare at this moment. She went on to say, "Don't ever think that this is the only video I have. After all, I had spent a total of five years by your side. No one knows you better than I do. Imagine if your employees were to learn the facts of you abusing your wife, committing adultery as well as earning commission, gosh! I can't even list down every dirt that I can dig on you! Will they lose respect on you by then? Hahaha!"
