Chapter 632
The man was pulled away instantly.
Ariel was finally freed from his iron grip. Her wide, fearful eyes remained fixed on the scene unfolding
before her.
The first person she saw was Samson, arriving just in time to save her. Several security guards followed closely behind him, swiftly subduing her abductor.
Samson rushed to her side, quickly untying the ropes around her wrists. “Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?”
Ariel’s heart pounded erratically, her chest rising and falling with shallow breaths. She hadn’t expected Samson to be the one rescuing her.
“How did you know I’d been abducted?” she asked, trying to steady herself despite the throbbing pain in her wrists and shoulder, and the splitting headache caused by the ether.
Samson’s brows furrowed as he removed his jacket and draped it over her shoulders. “I ran into Mr. Hockney. He said he couldn’t find you anywhere, so I came out to look for you.”
“What about the tender?” Ariel’s voice was quiet but strained. She knew Samson was representing Yeager Group–he needed to be present for the bidding.
Samson shook his head, adjusting the jacket around her. He offered a calm smile. “Don’t worry about that. What matters is that you’re safe. Even if I lose this bid, there will always be other promising opportunities.

Ariel’s expression darkened. Faye Technologies had already been forced out of the bidding because she’d been abducted. Now Samson had missed his own chance while searching for her.
She knew how important this project was–countless companies were fiercely competing for it. Missing this opportunity would be a heavy loss for both of them.
Samson saw the concern on Ariel’s face and cut her off. “Don’t stress over it. And don’t feel sorry for me;
this was my choice.”
He didn’t want to talk about it anymore. Instead, he helped her to her feet. “Let’s get out of here first.”
Only when they stepped into the corridor did Ariel notice the logos on the walls. They were still at the very venue where the tender was being held.
Samson supported her carefully as they made their way down the stairs–her legs were weak and trembling.
Suddenly, the host announced, “Congratulations to Bluum Corp for winning the bid!”

Ariel’s eyes widened slightly, and she turned toward the sound.
At that moment, Jayson appeared, hurrying up the stairs with a cold, unreadable expression.
The three of them met midway on the flight of stairs.
Ariel’s gaze shifted to him. His breathing was quick and uneven, and though his eyes were cold and dark, there was a flicker of something softer as he looked at her.
“Congratulations, Mr. Larkin,” Samson said, smiling faintly.
Jayson was clearly the biggest winner. With little resistance, his company had secured the highly coveted project.
Ariel couldn’t quite describe what she was feeling. Perhaps it was the shock of everything that had happened–or maybe the ether clouding her mind–but a jumble of emotions surged within her.
Thunderous applause erupted below as people congratulated Bluum Corp and Jayson.
The bidding had concluded while Ariel had been tied up, used as leverage against Jayson.
Jayson ignored Samson entirely. He strode up the stairs, took Ariel’s hand from Samson, and without a
word, swept her into his arms. He carried her toward the exit, not sparing Samson another glance.
Ariel remained silent. She didn’t even have the strength to protest.
Outside, Arthur stood waiting with the car.
Jayson handed Ariel over gently and instructed Arthur, “Stay here and handle everything. Make sure the
abductor is well taken care of.”
