Ariel's expertise was needed to ensure the project in Bellador progressed smoothly. She needed to leave for Bellador immediately.
She quickly had her measurements taken so the designer could begin crafting her wedding dress.
This time, the government had assigned several bodyguards to protect Ariel around the clock and even arranged a private jet for her flight to Bellador.
Janice was still in Bellador. Ariel had to rush over to help resolve the crisis.
Jayson had no objections.
Ariel had many dreams she hoped to fulfill, and Jayson had no intention of holding her back. He wanted to be her strongest support—always ready to offer help whenever she needed it.
Truthfully, he struggled with being apart from her for long stretches. He also felt that the government's assignments for Ariel were often too demanding.
He wasn't a fan of the saying "With great power comes great responsibility." Jayson believed no one should be burdened with extra duties just because of their capabilities.
Still, watching Ariel in the front passenger seat, intently studying the code on her tablet, made Jayson realize that what mattered most was how much she loved her work.
Ariel's thoughts were scattered when she left home that morning. She felt a pang of sadness and bitterness at having to part with Claire. She had never been someone who formed deep attachments.
Yet, she was surprised to find herself crying uncontrollably when Claire grabbed her finger and smiled. Now, all she could do was distract herself by diving into her work.
Jayson must have sensed her mood. He reached out and gently massaged the back of her neck. "Should I bring Claire to Bellador so that we could keep you company?"
Ariel cast him a sideways glance. "You might be able to endure living there, but Claire won't. The conditions are pretty rough. Stop joking."
Jayson had only been teasing, of course. He turned his gaze forward again, noticing Ariel's mood had lightened slightly.
"When did I ever say I was fine staying there? I'm actually worried about how we'll manage the wedding if you can't make it back in time."
Ariel clicked her tongue. "Then why did you insist on having a wedding? And next month, of all times—it's so rushed."
"I want a wedding so I can show us off to everyone."
Jayson didn't elaborate further. He knew he could be jealous and possessive.
Normally, he wasn't one to take things too seriously. But when it came to Ariel, he was never willing to compromise.
Ariel looked at him, puzzled, but chose not to press the issue.
When they arrived at the airport, Jayson parked by the roadside.

Can you give me more chapters? I was hoping for a happy ending with Ariel and Jayson. Janice with Wade, and if not, put her with Chad, Matt, or even Liam....
Nice and amazing story with gripping turns, but can you give more chapters? And please we need more romance as readers, it has been dragging on a lot, maybe romance, happy ending and end it soon....
