Don't get close to me (Linda and Beast) novel Chapter 12

Knuckles phone rang and it was a prospect manning the gates. He said "there is a delivery van here with flowers and gives for Linda," he said. Knuckles said let them in. The van pulled up to the door and Knuckles waited for the van to stop. The delivery man got out and opened the back door.

He said. "I have never made a delivery to a motorcycle club before."

He started to bring out flowers and other items. A prospect came out to help carry the items in and set them on the bar to be taken to Linda's room. The man said. "All of this is for some woman named Linda. She appears to be a very popular lady."

Knuckles said. "You don't know the half of it. This has been going on for over two weeks now."

"She is very much cared for."

Knuckles signed the document and watched as the van drove out of the clubhouse. He looked at everything that came and told Hawk to help me carry these to Linda's room. Beast said. "I can help."

"No," Knuckles said.

"We got this."

Beast was mad that Knuckles would not let him help so he could see Linda. He watched them carry the flowers and balloons and other gifts to her room.

Mary Ann was reading to Linda when Knuckles, Hawk, and a prospect came in carrying everything that arrived for Linda. She said. "I swear Linda if you don't wake up soon we will have to knock a wall down and enlarge your room."

" You have so many flowers and blankets we don't know what to do with everything."

Mary Ann looked at Linda hoping to see a smile, her move but nothing. Hawk said. "Mary Ann if you want to take a break I will sit with Linda."

" Thank you, I will do that. I want to see Psycho."

He took the chair she got off of and picked up the remote control. He was watching wrestling and every now and then looked over at Linda.

He soon dozed off and it was about an hour after he was asleep Linda opened her eyes. She didn't know where she was. She looked over and saw the man sleeping in the chair. She watched him and thought he is cute but who the hell is he? She reached up and took the oxygen mask off and tried to sit up.

She managed to swing her legs off the bed. She had to use the bathroom. She didn't remember what happened to her. She went to stand up and fell on the floor. Hawk woke up hearing the noise and looked at the bed. What the hell. He then looked down at the floor and saw Linda look at him.

She said. "I have to use the bathroom."

Hawk was shocked. He picked her up in his arms and carried her to the bathroom. He held her as she pulled her pants down and then sat her on the toilet and left the room. when she was done and she managed to pull her pants up she said I'm ready. He held her as she washed her hands and he carried her back to the bed.

"Please stay here while I get Mary Ann."

"He ran out of the room yelling for Mary Ann. Mary Ann Linda is awake."

Everyone ran to the room. When Linda saw Beast she yelled "to get out. Go away, I don't want to see you."

Everyone looked at Beast. Hawk shut the door on Beast so Linda didn't see him. Everyone talked about how happy they were she was awake.

Linda asked, "how long have I been out?"

"Two weeks. Don't you ever do that again?"

She opened her eyes and saw Animal standing looking at her. She had such sadness about her, a wall around her. She looked as if her heart was breaking. He then noticed the wrapped wrists. She tried to kill herself. Why, Why would she do that? She reminded him of the sister he lost. His sister had cut her wrists over a man who broke her heart. Did this happen to her he wondered?

They stared at each other for a few minutes before she smiled. The smile did not reach her eyes. She asked. "Who are you?"

He said, "animal."

"Well, Animal have you never seen a woman who tried to kill herself before?"

Animal didn't say anything. She said "they can't watch me all the time. I can't live wanting to see him and then hating him when I see him"

she said to herself.

"The pain is too much."

Animal said. "Whoever hurt you is one dumb mother fucker. You are beautiful."

Looking toward the woods she said. "Not beautiful enough with my scares."

"He ran from me to a club whore."

"If they won't let me die I need to build a wall so high and thick around my heart no one can get in and it won't be broken again. Learn to stop trusting some people."

Animal sighed. She had been hurt badly. He turned and walked into the clubhouse. He needed to find out who she is and what happened to her.
