Looking up I said. "Sorry," and I walked around him and walked down the stairs. The prospect watched her until she shut the door. Dam she is tiny and short. As she stepped outside Danny and Sara were waiting for her. They walked to the door of the bar and Danny opened it and the girls walked in first.
We found a table near the front of the dance floor and sat down. Danny walked to the table putting three beers down. As we were talking the door opened and Beast, Arizona, and the enforcer of the club Chains walked in. They looked around and saw the girl and a couple sitting near the dance floor.
Beast walked over to the table next to them. He pulled out a chair where he was facing the girl. Just as Arizona brought over their drinks Beast saw a man walk up and stand behind the girl's chair.
The guy leaned down and said something in her ear and Beast saw her face turn red and she started to shake. Beast was instantly pissed. Then she burst out laughing. She stood up and turned and looked at the man saying.
"Ryan, you are one stupid son of a bitch" and threw herself in his arms. Wait a minute he is one of their prospects. Ryan wrapped his arms around her hugging her until he heard her whimper.
He slowly lowered her and lifted her shirt. What he saw pissed him off instantly.
"Where is he?" we heard him ask.
"I don't know and I don't want to know."
" He is one dead son of a bitch if I ever catch him."
" So what are you doing here," he asked?
"Celebrating my getting away from him and moving into my new apartment. I live upstairs."
" Really."
" Yes, really."
" Danny, Sara meet my brother Ryan."
" Your brother," they asked?
"Yes, really,"
" I am her foster brother, but her mom and dad raised me until I graduated from high school two years ago."
" Sit down."
Ryan pulled out a chair. He sat looking at the girl.
"How are you really," he asked?
She smiled and said. "You know me. I will live. I always land on my feet."
" That you do."
She looked at him and said. "You better call mom and dad. They have been worried they have not heard from you in months."
" I will in a few days. I have been out of town."
" Wait," he said.
"You're the girl that moved into the apartment across from my roommate and me."
" I guess so if you live up above this bar."
" I do," he said.
" Sara said Ryan she is right."
Ryan said, "Linda, I will get him. Make no mistake about that."
Beast looked at the man giving Linda an evil grin. A grin that said. I will catch you alone and when I do you will suffer.
Beast looked at the man giving him an evil grin of his own. Letting him know that if he even thinks about touching Linda, he would kill him. Linda ignored the man and watched the dancing on the floor. Beast looked relaxed but he never once lost sight of the man he felt that he was a threat to Linda. He watched him make his way around the room moving closer to where they were setting. He also noticed that Ryan was doing the same thing.
As he moved closer to the dance floor and their table Beast saw Linda lean closer to Ryan. He wished it were him she was turning to for support. But she doesn't really know him. Beast watched as he talked to a girl and gave her a note. He pointed over to Linda and she nodded her head.
He walked away not looking back. Beast stood up and walked to the girl he said. "Give me the note."
She looked at him and handed him the note. He smiled and said. "Thank you."
He put the note in the back pocket of his jeans. He walked to the bar and ordered drinks for everyone at the table. Then walked back and handed them out. As he put Linda's beer down in front of her, she looked at him and said "thank you, but you didn't have to buy me a drink."
Beast just smiled at her and shook his head. He watched her throughout the night. He noticed the earring in her ear. She wore only that one earring. Then it came to him. That earring looks familiar. It can't be.
That earring looks like one that Bone's from the Road Warrior MC wears. Is this the girl that he gave the earring too he asked himself? She got up a few times and walked to the lady's room never talking to anyone. On her way back some man stopped her and asked her to dance.
She said politely. "No thank you but I hope you find a nice woman to dance with."
Ryan was watching her every now and then with a look on his face that said. What has he done to her? Ryan got up and walked to the men's room and Beast followed him.
Beast said. "What's up to Ryan?"
" She has changed. She used to have a light in her eyes now she doesn't. She has an I'll talk to you attitude but don't get close to me. Something is not right. She used to love dancing. But even when I hit her arm she tenses up. It is like she has closed herself off from getting close to anyone."
