Don't get close to me (Linda and Beast) novel Chapter 21

Karan was looking out the window at Linda and Bones. They were sitting on the swing and Linda was leaning against Bones. The side of her face was still bandaged. She could not hear what they were saying but she saw Linda shake her head no a few times and then finally yes.

She relaxed as she knew that Linda had agreed to come back to their clubhouse until Beast left. She didn't have to see him and could heal and be around those who loved her. She watched as Snake walked over to her drinking a cup of coffee. Karan grinned. He liked coffee as much as Linda did.

Snake asked, "how is she today?"

Karan sighed. "Depressed. Bones wants her to come back to the clubhouse until Beast leaves."

"If she is going to your clubhouse so am I, my prospects and enforcer."

Karan turned and looked at Snake. She said. "You like Linda don't you?"

"I more than like her," Snake said.

"I don't care that she has a scar on her face. I fell for her wild spirit. She can be funny, make you laugh sometimes even make you want to strangle her. But, she makes me relax and not be as stressed out as I was."

"Hell, she has even made me smile and laugh and you know that is hard to do."

Karan patted his shoulder and said.

"Bones like you and so do I. Don't do anything to make us change our mind."

"You know that Linda can be stubborn and if she gets pissed at you she will ignore you."

"I know," said Snake.

"But there is something about her that makes me want to protect her and keep her safe. Believe it or not, we do fight. She fights to push me away and I fight to pull her to me."

Karan started laughing. She said.

"You love her. But Linda is running from you. This is going to be interesting. sure you can come to the clubhouse. You both are going to be entertaining to watch."

Karan and Snake looking out the window. Arizona walked into the kitchen and poured himself a cup of coffee. He looked at Karan and asked.

"Have you seen Linda?"

" Yes, she is sitting outside on the swing with Bones."

Arizona looking at Karan said.

"It doesn't bother you how close he is to her?"

"No why do you ask?"

"He loves her like a daughter."

She looked at Arizona and said.

"We are both older than we look. She is old enough to be my daughter as well. And she is as I too have adopted her as mine."

"We will take care of her like she is our own."

"After all Bones and I have no living children. Our only son was shot and killed by a rival MC. Linda and Mary Ann are all we have."

Arizona turned around carrying his coffee cup and walked out of the kitchen. He walked to the door and out onto the front porch where he walked over and sat in a chair next to the swing.

He was watching one of the bikers working on a bike. He then said.

"Linda, I'm sorry about what happened to you. I will pay for plastic surgery to fix the scar."

He then got up and walked over to the garage not wanting to hear what she would say. Bones continued to rock the swing and soon he felt Linda relax against him. He looked up as he saw Snake walking towards them.

Bones watched Snake as he sat down and drank his coffee. He didn't say anything he waited for Snake to say what was on his mind. He knew he liked Linda. Snake turned and looked at Linda laying on Bones lap sleeping.

He wished it was his lap she was laying on.

"Bone's I want your permission to take your adopted daughter as my Valkyrie."

"I don't care she screamed. "

"I don't want or need another man so stay the fuck away from me."

Linda climbed out of Snakes bed and stormed out of his room. She didn't care that she was wearing Snakes teeshirt and her legs were showing. She stormed down the hallway to the bar where several men were sitting and she walked up to Bone's yelling "how could you?"

Bones was laughing and so was Karan. Arizona looked up from his beer laughing then whistled at her legs.

"shut the fuck up Arizona."

"And if the rest of you men don't close your mouth and stop looking at my legs I will cut your eyes out."

As she turned to walk to her room she saw Snake leaning against the hall door wearing nothing but jeans with his arms crossed. He even had a grin on his face.

"He said nothing happened."

"Nothing happened Linda screamed."

"Then just who the hell undressed me and put your teeshirt on me?"

She shoved him out of her way and stormed to her room where she slammed her door shut so hard the windows in the clubhouse rattled.

The men started laughing and said.

"Snake you are on her shit list now."

"We have not seen her that mad in over a year."

Snake just shook his head and walked back to his room to take a shower and get dressed.

Linda shocked to find herself in bed with Snake
