Don't get close to me (Linda and Beast) novel Chapter 58

I woke up and stood up to go to the bathroom. My back hurt so bad. As I walked into the bathroom my water broke. "Blade I screamed."

I sat up fast. I heard my name called. I walked to the bathroom and saw Shawn holding her belly and gasping. "Shawn are you in labor?'

"Yes, my water broke."

I helped her dress and then dressed myself. I grabbed her suitcase and helped her to the truck. I lifted her on towel and got in heading to the hospital.

I parked the truck close to the emergency room then helped her out before grabbing her suitcase. We walked into the emergency room door.

"Can I help you a nurse asked?"

"Yes, my wife is in labor."

Shawn was placed into a wheelchair and I followed the nurse to the elevator. We got off on the second floor. I followed the nurse to a room where she helped Shawn into a hospital gown."

I called Blaze and let him know that Shawn was in labor. Soon the visiting room was full of members. An hour later Shawn was gripping my hand.

"You can do this baby."

Soon we heard the babies cry. "You have a beautiful little girl."

When the doctor cleaned her and she was wrapped in a blanket. The nurse handed her to Blade. She is beautiful indeed.

"What is her name Shawn?'

"Star. Go show your members. I know you want to."

I walked out of the room to the waiting room. "We have a daughter. Her name is Star."

All the members held her before giving her back to me. I saw the longing in Luna's eyes. "One day, Luna." I said before walking out of the room.

I handed Star to Shawn and she put Star to her breast. I sat in the rocking chair near the bed. I am a father. I never thought that day would ever come.

I took Star from Shawn and lay her in her crib. I looked up at Blaze as he and Luna walked into the room.

"Watch over them Blaze."

"I am going to do something and stop at McDonalds and get her food and coffee. I will be back. I kissed Shawn and told her to sleep. I would be right back.

I walked out of the hospital and drove to our tattoo shop. When I walked in Jean looked at me.

"What can I do for you Blade."

"I need two blades one on each shoulder. Then I need Shawn between my shoulder blades. And a pair of baby foot prints here with the name of Star."

"Let me get this straight. You got married, and now you have a daughter?"

"I claimed Spiders ex-wife."

"That's right, I heard about that. What a bastard he is."

"I also hear she is very beautiful."

"She is."

When Jean finished the tattoo's I thanked her and left the shop. I drove to McDonalds and ordered her food and two coffee's with two creams in them.

I drove into the hospital parking lot and walked to Shawn's room. She was asleep but I sat her food and coffee on the table next to her bed.

I smiled as I saw Luna sleeping on the couch and Blaze holding Star. I sat down in a chair next to him and drank my coffee. About five minutes later I saw Shawn open her eyes.

"What are you laughing at?"

"Do you hear yourself?"

"I know what I said."

"Are you going to chase her boyfriends away?"

"I won't have to. Your son will."

"Luna is not pregnant."

"Yes, she is. she has a little pouch."

I watched as he turned and looked at Luna. She did have a bit of a pouch and she had her hand on her belly. Just like Shawn always did.

"She doesn't know."

"No, she doesn't."

"You know what Blade?"

"I just thought about how disappointed Spider would be to find out that Shawn had a girl, and not a boy."

"I don't care if he is. This is my daughter."

"I claimed this child as mine."

"That is all that matters."
