Chapter308
Bethany found out that Kyson’s mom had about the same fate
as her and only had a few months to live, so she couldn’t help
but feel sorry for her.
After she typed a line on her phone, she handed it to Kyson.
Kyson saw her agree and said gratefully, “Thank you.”
Bethany knew she wasn’t, and it might be easy for Kyson’s mom
to find out, but it didn’t matter anymore. Since Kyson had found
her, he would definitely take care of everything.
Bethany typed another line: “It’s okay, you’ve helped me a lot
too. If you need me then, just let me know ahead of time so we
don’t mess up.”
“Okay, it was still early, no rush, this was the best last resort,
and you didn’t need to be too nervous.”
Bethany comforted Kyson right away: “You were right, this was
the only thing we could do. I hope you can find your real sister
during this time, so your family can be together again and your
mom’s wish can come true.”
Since things were fine, Kyson didn’t go into detail with Bethany

about the little sister. Anyway, there wasn’t much to say, and it
was normal not to remember things from childhood.
Look for it first, and if you really couldn’t find it, then talk to
Bethany about the details.
Lucian already said she felt like his little sister, so he should be
able to get away with it when the time comes.
After we talked about all that, Kyson still brought up Terrence.
“Beth, Terrence didn’t seem to want a divorce. Even though you
went abroad, it wasn’t necessarily safe. I thought he might still
come looking for you. What were you planning to do?”
“Wasn’t he hurt? He probably couldn’t come for a while. By the
time he could leave the hospital, I thought our divorce case
could go to court.””
Bethany was typing and thinking, if she put everything else
aside, just what Terrence did to her that night should’ve been
enough for a divorce.
She checked her phone today, and Randy and Evangeline both
called her.
She wasn’t planning to come back.

Anyway, I gave Randy a copy of the info, and any headaches,
the McConnell family would handle themselves.
Early in the morning.
Evangeline brought breakfast to the hospital to visit Terrence,
but she didn’t see Terrence.
I ran to ask Terrence’s doctor and found out he was actually
discharged!
He was crazy, he must have been crazy.
Such a serious injury, not staying in the hospital to recover
properly, really was reckless.
Evangeline called Terrence’s phone, but it was off.
She called Michael.
“Where was your Mr. McConnell?”
“Mr. McConnell went abroad.”
“Go abroad?”
Evangeline’s face changed. Did she go looking for Krista?
“When did he leave?”
