Chapter369
Kyson said that, and only then did Bethany feel relieved. She
hooked her thumb and thanked him.
Kyson told her to go get some rest.
Bethany went in, and Kyson went out.
He was going to find Terrence.
Earlier, even though he was always helping Bethany, he hadn’t
really made up his mind to actually help her get a divorce.
By now, he understood more and more that their marriage just
couldn’t last.
So, I had to go see Terrence today.
Otherwise, there would be problems with tomorrow’s court
session.
Kyson had just walked out the door when he saw Terrence’s car
pull in.
Terrence sat in the back seat of the car, rolled down the
window, “Getting in?”
Chapter 369
Kyson opened the car door and got in.
Terrence got straight to the point, “She was at your place?”
“You sure did your homework.” Kyson stared at him and said in
a low voice, “Still got the same plan as before?”
Terrence’s voice was gentle, “It definitely didn’t work.”
“Why?”
Kyson thought Terrence would only stall in that way, and
besides that, there wasn’t any other way.
Only after I put it off did I look for another chance.
“Because you already knew all the tricks, I was afraid you’d see
through them.”
Kyson curled his lips, “You divorced her, and now you’re
fighting with me?”
“Isn’t it your fault for getting involved? If you hadn’t stepped in, things wouldn’t have gotten this complicated. Kyson, for the
sake of our brotherhood, how about you back off? I never thought about divorcing her. It was probably all just a
misunderstanding.”
“It’s too late. Since I got involved, I have to see it through. You

told me not to meddle, but I think you should just let go.” Kyson
then gave a suggestion, “If you really can’t let her go, then chase
her again after the divorce. At least if you divorce now, maybe
you’ll still leave a good impression on her.“”
Terrence frowned and said, “We’re still married and she doesn’t
come home. If we got divorced, do you think she’d still give me a
chance?”
He couldn’t fall for Kyson’s tricks.
“If things didn’t go well tomorrow, have you thought about the
consequences? Maybe she really would go all out against you. I
think she really didn’t want to look back anymore. But honestly,
I felt like she didn’t need to. Terrence, you didn’t cherish her
anyway. Wouldn’t it be better to just end things on good terms?”
Terrence’s voice was angry, “Which eye of yours saw that I
didn’t cherish her?”
“Both eyes saw it. You kept pestering like this, it really didn’t
mean anything.”
Kyson really hoped Terrence would just give in and get it done
quickly and directly.
“In short, things got this complicated because you got involved,
so I wanted to throw this problem to you, Kyson. If I didn’t want

to do something, no one could force me, not even you.”
Terrence looked determined, and his tone was even more firm.
“How did it end up in my hands?”
“I looked for your sister.”
Kyson gave a faint smile, “Trying to fool me, huh.”
“Believe it or not, you broke up my family, so I definitely wasn’t
