Chapter370
In the end, I still gritted my teeth and let him go, “Yeah, you got
skills, you’re capable, you helped the Duarte family find the
missing Daphie, I shouldn’t have treated you like that.”
“I should have begged you to tell me, but didn’t you know how
anxious our whole family was to find her?”
“How many years did my mom miss her so much that she got
sick?”
“Now I was about to die!”
“Terrence, if all these years between us weren’t enough for you.
to tell me the truth right now, then I really fucking misjudged
you!”
Kyson said so much in one go, his voice was shaking.
Terrence also couldn’t bear it.
He said he knew everything Kyson talked about.
He still said coldly, “Your mom needed a daughter, you needed a sister, the Duarte family needed Daphie, but I needed a wife.”
Chapter370
After they found out about Bethany’s identity, Terrence had to
deal with not just the Duarte family, but also the Lamont
family.
Daphne had been missing for twenty years, but the Lamont
family still wouldn’t call off the engagement.
There really was no way for him and Bethany anymore.
So, he had to start with Kyson.
Kyson’s eyes were bloodshot as he stared hard at Terrence. The
guy who always smiled now had coldness showing in his eyes..
“I’ll ask you again, where was Daphie?”
“You made Beth go home and behave, and never mention.
divorce again, then I’ll tell you.”
Terrence didn’t back down or waver at all.
This time Kyson really wanted to stab Terrence to death, even
angrier than last time.
On one hand, it drove the Duarte family crazy, and on the other
hand, it forced him to use Bethany.
Kyson was totally pissed off and threw a punch at Terrence,
“Are you gonna talk or not?”
Chapter370
Terrence caught his fist and grabbed Kyson’s hand tight, “I just
wanted to pick up my wife and take her home, that’s all. My
wish came true, so yours will too.”
Kyson pulled back his fist and swung it again.
Terrence’s leg fracture hadn’t healed yet, and he didn’t mean to
fight back. Kyson’s second punch hit the side of his face so hard
that Terrence’s mouth was bleeding.
Michael sat in the driver’s seat, a little nervous, “Mr. Duarte,
don’t do anything, Mr. McConnell’s injuries still hadn’t healed
yet.“”
Terrence said in a low voice, “You go down.”
This didn’t need others to butt in.
Michael got off the car, scared.
Kyson shouted, “Say it.”
“No matter what you said today, I wouldn’t tell you.“”
Terrence was hurt, and Kyson hit him. No matter how you
looked at it, it felt kind of over the top.
That wasn’t what a gentleman would do.
