Chapter450
So, he drugged her water?
“What did you drug me with?”
She didn’t have a healthy body, couldn’t just take medicine.
Terrence answered calmly, “It helps you sleep, don’t worry, it’s
not a sleeping pill, it won’t hurt your body.”
“Where is this?” She was really furious, “I want to go back!”
Terrence’s gentle eyes rested on her pretty face, “You should
know, since I brought you out, I’m not taking you back so soon.
Beth, don’t be mad. Just go with it now that you’re here. We still
had more than twenty days.“”
Bethany glared at him coldly. She felt like he had already lost
his mind and was acting crazy.
“Terrence, our marriage got to this point, did it mean anything
for you to do this?”
“We didn’t talk about this. I haven’t eaten well these days. Let’s
eat first, okay?”
Chapter450
Bethany took out her phone, wanting to check her location, but
there was no signal at all on her phone.
Terrence slowly served the soup and lazily said, “This is an
island, there’s no outsider here. If you behave and stay for a few
days, I’ll take you back. Otherwise…”
“Or what?”
Terrence lifted his eyelids, his eyes deep. “Otherwise, I might
have dragged things out.”
Bethany stepped up, grabbed the tablecloth, and gave it a hard
pull. The breakfast on the table crashed to the floor, with food
and drinks spilling everywhere. Even Terrence got soup all over
him.
Even so, Terrence didn’t get mad. He used his cane to push
himself up.
“Someone, come here.”
The servant in the villa came in with their head down and
quickly cleaned up the dining room.
Terrence told the kitchen to make breakfast again.
He went back to the bedroom to change clothes.
Chapter450
Bethany walked out of the villa.
The villa was built by the sea, and the view was beautiful, but
she wasn’t in the mood to enjoy it at all. She walked around and,
just like Terrence said, this was an island. There was no way she
could leave.
Her phone didn’t have signal, and she didn’t even know where
she was.
Right away, I got pretty mad.
When she got back to the villa, Terrence was just sitting on the
seaside balcony smoking.
The morning light fell on him, making him look noble and
elegant, really charming.
He was clearly a gentle and polite guy, but he did all kinds of
crazy things.
Bethany walked up to him angrily, her heart clenched tight,
“Terrence, I hate you!”
All that happened in the past, she never thought about hating
him.
