Thinking of this, Zachary let go of Sandra and got up to get dressed.

Sandra, sensitive to Zachary’s change, quickly grasped his hand and looked up at him with her charming face.

“Zachary, miv parents are away tonight, so you can stay.”

“No, I need to check on the Kingsley family,” Zachary replied reluctantly.

Amelia had celebrated her birthdays with him for the past two years, and he would transfer some money to her as a blessing, which would make her happy easily. This year, Amelia did not respond to him.

Amelia felt warmth in her heart as she picked up the card attached to the bouquet.

It turned out the flowers were from Zachary. What a shame.

Amelia’s expression clouded over, and she summoned Riley. “Throw these flowers out.”

“What?” Riley was shocked. “But they’re so beautiful.”

“Dispose of them. And reject any flowers that are sent by the same person.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

Amelia shredded the card to prevent it from being seen and causing any trouble.

Zachary was clearly trying to undermine her, hoping she would be suspected by Gloria and expelled from the Kingsley family.

‘You think you can tarnish my reputation with a few flowers? Never. I no longer value anything you send to me.’

Just after she had disposed of the card, Henry showed up. “Amelia, I saw Riley throwing away a bouquet of roses. Which admirer sent them to you?”

“Is it any of your business?” Amelia’s face was cold and composed.

Zachary sent the flowers, and Henry showed up next–clearly a coordinated move. Fortunately, she had acted swiftly and destroyed the card.

“Of course, it is. As the daughter–in–law of the Kingsley family, your actions represent ours.” Henry stated. “Although Landon is a vegetable and can’t satisfy you in certain ways, you must not bring shame upon him.”

“Henry, watch your language,” Amelia warned, her anger barely contained.

Ignoring her, Henry continued, “Amelia, if you disappoint us, the Kingsley family…”

“I have not done anything to disappoint the Kingsley family. If you think I am at fault, please present your evidence.” Amelia clutched her pen tightly, resisting the urge to stab it into Henry’s head.

“Who sent those flowers just now?” Henry inquired with a malicious glint in his eye.

“I have no idea,” Amelia replied coldly.

Henry pressed. “If you don’t know, why did you throw the flowers away?”

“I won’t accept any gift that isn’t from my husband,” Amelia declared, and then challenged. “Henry, did I do wrong in throwing them out?”
