The atmosphere thickened slightly at those words.
The Golden Domain was the ’known’ universe itself.
It was the discovered, mapped, and livable section of universe for Gods and mortals.
Beyond its edges stretched what most simply called [The Shattered Horizon].
It was a place with harsh environments and unstable laws.
Gods who held their heads high inside the Golden Domain would be nothing but dust outside of it.
The conditions were so extreme that even most divine beings couldn’t last a breath.
Only Heavenbreakers, Apostles, or the rare Realm Divinity Gods had the strength to survive out there.
Bael leaned back slightly on his throne. "I do know a way to leave the Golden Domain. However, I can’t give it to you."
Neo’s expression sharpened. "Why not?"
"You will die instantly as soon as you go there," Bael said. His tone wasn’t mocking, but blunt. "Forget the monsters and the Realm Divinity Gods waiting beyond. Even the air in that space would crush you before you could take a step."
"...What?"
"The space outside is saturated with Chaos Particles. Unless you carry the defenses of a Grade 3 Stage 6 God, you’ll be obliterated before you can think."
Neo stared at him, surprised.
He had always known the Shattered Horizon was dangerous, but he hadn’t expected this.
That the very air could obliterate a god below a certain level was absurd.
His own endurance had carried him through storms that could vaporize armies, yet even he wouldn’t last there.
"So what about children? Do they not exist out there?"
"They do," Bael answered.
Neo’s brows drew tighter. "And they’re all as strong as Grade 3 Stage 6 Gods?"
Bael smiled at that.
The hint of amusement was obvious in his expression.
"Realm Divinity Gods create pocket universes," Bael explained. "Their children live inside until they are strong enough to survive the environment outside."
"I see."
Neo let the words settle.
His current strength wasn’t enough.
Even if he had ways to escape or stall a Stage 6 God, fighting one was impossible.
It was already absurd that someone like him, whose existence was barely Stage 5, could defeat peak Stage 5s Gods.
But against Stage 6?
That was beyond him for now.
I need to complete my breakthroughs soon, he thought. The changes they’ll bring should be enough to make me strong enough to fight Stage 6 Gods.
But even then, whether he could stand against a Grade 3 Stage 6 was uncertain.
He looked back at Bael.
"So why won’t you tell me how to leave the Golden Domain?"
"Because I can’t let my little princess die so easily. Come find me when you reach Grade 3 Stage 6 level. If you can sustain a single attack from me, then I’ll let you go."
Neo raised an eyebrow.
"Aren’t you just Stage 5? I think I can sustain an attack from you even now."
"You jest, princess," Bael said, his tone amused but firm. "You’re only embarrassing yourself with such claims. Did you forget I’m a Realm Divinity God? I can easily fight peak Stage 6 Gods."
Neo blinked.
He hadn’t expected that answer.
Bael tilted his head slightly, as if reading Neo’s thoughts. "In case you don’t know, Realm Divinity Gods are stronger than Blessed Gods."
The words hit harder than Neo wanted to admit.
Blessed Gods were ’children’ of the Elemental Supremes.
Their existence was beyond what Elemental and Divine Gods could hope to stand against.
Leonora herself wasn’t a god, yet even she could fight Stage 4 Gods without faltering just because she was the Blessed of Water.
Insane bastards.
How do you even reach that level?
