"Felix, have you played games before?"
"Games?" Felix blinked. "Yeah. Why?"
"That’s my Path," Neo said calmly. "You kill monsters, you train your skills, you level up, you gain new classes, you learn new abilities, you master them, and then you gain new skills. It works like that."
Felix froze, staring at him.
The explanation sounded simple, and childish, but at the same time it ignored the rigid restrictions that bound every known Path.
"No way... is that actually true!?"
Her voice carried disbelief but also growing excitement.
Neo nodded without hesitation.
Her breath quickened as she thought about what that meant.
It was a- no, the Perfect Path.
Neo, however, knew there was a lot he needed to do to perfect his Path.
The gene limit still existed for Felix and the others who were born in this Cosmos.
He hadn’t found a way to give them the Heavenbreaker gene yet.
But Sacred Treasures could still be used to break through those gene limits.
If they had those, then with Neo’s Path, their power would grow in ways no one else in the world could match.
Felix finally asked the question on her mind. "How do I use your Path?"
Neo extended his hand toward her. "Give me your hand."
Felix placed her hand in his. His grip was firm but not forceful, and she felt a sudden warmth travel through her arm.
Neo connected to her existence and linked a Heavenly Record to it.
Several translucent screens blinked into existence before her eyes.
[Giving Felix Morris access to the Path of Eternal Transcendence]
[Access granted]
Her heart skipped a beat as more text appeared.
[Name: Felix Morris]
[Species: Demigod (Human), Devil (Soul Weapon Contractor)]
[Existence: Stage 2]
[Level 1]
[Class: None]
[Traits: ...]
There was far too much information for her to process all at once.
She stared at it, dazed, until the screen shifted again. A new golden frame appeared, radiating faint light.
[Given Classes are available for Felix Morris to choose from.]
Three names floated in front of her eyes:
Whisperblade of the Veil. (Legendary Class)
Sovereign of Enchanting Shadows(Legendary Class)
Dagger of Silent Eternity. (Legendary Class)
Felix’s lips parted as she read them.
Each one carried an overwhelming aura of power.
The power they radiated was the same power that came from calling the name of powerful gods.
It meant these classes’ names had Existence woven into them!
Neo smiled faintly. "I gave you access to legendary classes. Choose any one of them and you’ll gain skills related to it. There’s a lot more waiting for you when you level up, but I’ll let you discover those surprises yourself."
Felix’s excitement was impossible to hide. "Thanks!"
She immediately focused on the screen again.
Her eyes darted back and forth like a child receiving their first gift.
Neo let her immerse herself in the options and turned his head to Arthur.
Their gazes met.
"Your hand," Neo said.
Arthur didn’t question him.
He placed his hand into Neo’s, and the same connection was made.
Heavenly Records appeared before Arthur’s eyes, lines of information flowing until his own golden selection screen arrived.
Seven names appeared this time:
Eternal Conductor of Elements. (Legendary Class)
Blade of the World’s Balance. (Legendary Class)
Sword of Unyielding Justice. (Legendary Class)
Avenger of Fallen Flames. (Legendary Class)
Mystic Lord of Elemental Dominion. (Legendary Class)
Warden of Radiant Vows. (Legendary Class)
Shadowpiercer of the Dawn. (Legendary Class)
Neo couldn’t grant them too many skills and classes at once.
Their existence wouldn’t be able to sustain that burden, and it would end up warping.
Only Neo could merge with foreign existences and stay himself.
For others, they would need to spend time with classes and skills, make them their ’own’ and then level up.
This was where ’mastering the skills and classes’ came from.
Arthur took his time reading the class details.
His expression remained calm, but there was a glint in his eyes.
He closed the screen after a moment and gave Neo a short nod.
"Thanks."
Neo nodded back, wordless.
Finally, he turned toward Jack.
Unlike the others, Jack didn’t move.
