Neo’s Cosmos
"I said, open the Cosmos!" Bael spoke, his voice echoing through the vast chamber.
The world of Earth had been pulled into Neo’s Cosmos, along with everyone on it.
The clone that had made it happen had been destroyed moments later by the Alliance Gods. Although it was of concern how the Alliance Gods knew Neo’s clone could act even if he was sealed, there was no time to waste thinking about it.
Now, inside Neo’s Cosmos, the strongest beings were gathered in a meeting hall.
Hades sat at one end of the long table, his calm presence filling the room.
Persephone sat beside him, her eyes clouded with worry.
Berserker leaned back on his chair, arms crossed behind his head while his legs rested on the table.
Tyrant Firmament, Headless Zeus, Velkaria, Artemis, and others watched in silence.
At the center of the room stood a glowing humanoid mass. It looked human in shape, but its body was made of light.
"We cannot let you out," said the luminous being.
It was the manifestation of the Heavenly Library, controlled by the First Heavenly Record.
Because it was tied to Neo, it could open or close the Cosmos at will.
"I’m his guardian! How many times do I have to tell you that? Let me go and help him!" Bael yelled.
His aura flared, shaking the floor slightly.
Persephone’s hands tightened on her lap. She didn’t speak, but her eyes said enough.
Hades looked at the glowing being with an unreadable expression.
"Why are you doing this?" Tyrant Firmament asked.
"Because he cannot help Master," the Heavenly Library said plainly.
Bael’s jaw tightened. "I’m a Stage 5—"
"Realm Divinity God," interrupted the being. "We know that. Master already found the path to becoming one. He planned to ascend once he had time to rest. We understand your level of strength. But against the forces moving against him, it’s not enough."
Bael glared at the manifestation.
It wasn’t like him to lose his temper, but standing here, powerless, reminded him of the past. Of the time he learned about Hades’ defeat only after it was over. Of how helpless he had been.
But no matter what he said, the Heavenly Library didn’t move.
Its master had already lost too many people.
Letting anyone leave and die would only break him further.
The being wouldn’t admit this weakness, telling them its master was worried about them, so instead, it spoke bluntly and acted cold.
"How long until he breaks the seal?" Berserker asked.
"One year, five months, twenty days," the Heavenly Library replied.
"The enemy knows all his abilities. Won’t they realize when he’s about to escape?" Berserker questioned.
"We don’t know," said the being. "We can no longer see into the future. That knowledge is lost to us."
"I can go," Hades said suddenly.
The meeting hall was plunged into the silence.
Certainly, while the Hades here was only Intent, he was strong enough to deal with all problems Neo was facing.
Tyrant Firmament turned to him.
"No. Your appearance might solve the problem now, but it will bring something far worse, Father."
Hades’ brows furrowed.
He didn’t argue, knowing her words were true.
Berserker sighed and looked at the Heavenly Library manifestation. "Give me the details of the technique you’re planning to use to help him escape the seal."
"Understood."
A paper appeared in front of Berserker, glowing faintly.
He glanced at it, snapped his fingers, and a copy appeared beside him.
For ordinary beings, their Life Flame represented their ’whole being’.
But for those like Hades and Berserker, it was only a ’fragment’. One piece of a much greater whole.
The realization lingered in the air.
Everyone focused on their work, gathering around glowing boards and floating sheets of paper.
For months, the strongest minds in Neo’s Cosmos worked together.
Hades, Berserker, Tyrant Firmament, Yaleth, and Headless Zeus sat in deep discussion with the Heavenly Library Manifestation, asking endless questions about how the Cosmos and Nine Heavens truly functioned.
"How exactly does time flow inside the Cosmos?" Berserker asked one day, rubbing the side of his head. "If time freezes for Neo, shouldn’t everything linked to him stop too?"
All of them knew the answer for this.
It was a question to point out as to what they were planning to create.
"Normally, yes," the Heavenly Library replied. "But the Nine Heavens and Cosmos operate as a separate layer. They follow their own natural flow of time, unaffected by external freezes."
Hades nodded thoughtfully. "Then, if we tie part of him to that flow, we can bypass the seal."
Yaleth leaned forward. "But the consciousness link could break if it’s forced."
We can anchor it with the Heavenly Records, Headless Zeus wrote in glowing letters. It should work after some trials and errors.
They spent days refining each part of the idea.
Every time one of them thought the concept was complete, someone else found a flaw.
Sometimes Berserker would lose his patience and slam his hand on the table, causing the room to tremble.
Sometimes Persephone would quietly suggest an idea that solved everything.
The Heavenly Library Manifestation stood near the center, guiding them with steady words.
It could look at the entire Cosmos and observe how its laws worked in real time, so whenever a question came up, it answered without hesitation.
After four months of non-stop effort, the technique was finally complete.
