Emilia arrived at Donovan Entertainment at the time she and Christian had agreed on the day before—actually a little earlier than her scheduled meeting with Tyler. She wanted to discuss the endorsement deal with The Glenn Group before anything else.

First, she brought Christian up to speed on their latest product line. The other day, when she’d accompanied Theodore and Ella Glenn, she'd only seen the prototypes—uncut gemstones, not yet crafted into finished jewelry.

“The Glenn Group’s new line is aimed at the higher end of the market,” Christian said after listening. “That fits the resource requirements in your contract.”

Emilia nodded in agreement. “They told me they’re giving me a lot of creative freedom, so I have an idea.”

“Go on,” Christian said.

“I want to do a soft bundle with the new song and The Glenn Group’s new collection,” Emilia explained, smiling. “Not a forced package deal, but more like—each unique piece is paired with one of my songs. The promotion would be huge.”

“But if it goes well, great,” Christian said, ever perceptive. “But what if there’s backlash? You know Vivienne will try to sabotage it.”

“That’s why we need a clear distinction,” Emilia replied with an easy smile. “The endorsement is one thing, the music is another.”

“So, Emilia is the spokesperson, but Emy is the artist?”

“Exactly,” Emilia said.

Christian’s interest was piqued. Emilia was signed under Donovan Entertainment; if she pulled this off, it would be a big win for the company. Not that Christian cared only about profits—he’d back Emilia no matter what, even if it meant going out on a limb.

Just as Emilia was about to elaborate, there was a knock at the door.

“Mr. Donovan, The Erickson Group is here,” his assistant announced.

“Take them to Conference Room One,” Christian instructed.

Emilia glanced at him. “Go meet with them first. I’ll fill you in later—though I bet you can guess what I’m about to say.”
