Five Years Up I Reveal I'm The Richest He Kneels And Begs novel Chapter 333

Chapter 333: Gianna Inherited Regina’s Talent

“The family’s still the talk of the town. You need to be careful—don’t give anyone a reason to use this against you,” Emery warned sharply.

So that was the root of it all?

Miguel gave a small shrug, his expression calm, almost indifferent. “I just saw some posts on my phone. They’re spreading nonsense. We don’t have to let it bother us.”

“We’ve always been close, haven’t we? I don’t see what the big deal is. Some people just want to stir up trouble.”

Emery’s temper flared instantly at his casual dismissal. “You really think that’s okay?” she snapped, her voice sharp with frustration.

Lately, the socialites had been whispering behind her back, turning her into the subject of their cruel gossip. The constant ridicule was driving her to the edge. She had barely calmed down when this conversation reignited the fire inside her.

“Gianna, be honest with me. Are you doing this deliberately with your brothers? Why would you do something like this?” Emery demanded, her eyes searching her daughter’s face.

Emery had been raised sheltered and pampered, never learning the subtle games people played in high society. Now, overwhelmed by anger, she spoke without filtering her words.

Gianna hadn’t expected things to escalate this much.

“Mom, I didn’t realize it would get so out of hand. I swear, I never meant for this to happen. I’ve always been close to my brothers since we were kids. I thought it would just bring us closer as a family.”

Her voice was soft, tinged with genuine regret and vulnerability. She looked almost fragile, the kind of sincerity that made onlookers want to reach out and comfort her.

But Emery wasn’t ready to let it slide. She pressed on, suspicion clouding her tone. “If you didn’t mean anything by it, then why do you always seem to interfere whenever Marcelo is with Isabel? Once or twice might be coincidence, but every single time? Are you seriously telling me that’s all accidental?”

Gianna’s heart began to race.

Had something happened while she was away on that reality show—something she was completely unaware of? Why bring up Marcelo and Isabel now?

Despite the panic rising inside her, she quickly masked it.

“I really didn’t mean to cause any trouble. You know I was always weak and sickly before, and I’m just naturally very close to my brothers. We’ve always been together.”

She took a deep breath, trying to steady her voice. “I didn’t do anything on purpose. Maybe there’s been a misunderstanding? Mom, I’ll change whatever you want me to. Okay?”

Her voice cracked slightly as she continued, tears threatening to spill. “When I first moved into the Nygard Residence, everything felt so unfamiliar and scary. I was terrified of making a mistake and getting kicked out. Then I’d have nowhere to go.”
