Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1756

"Amy, don't get too full of yourself! One day, you'll regret messing with me!"

Amy just laughed it off, giving her a dismissive look. "Dreaming in broad daylight, are we? No matter how tough Josie is, she can't bail you out."

Jane, seething, stormed off in her high heels. Faced with Amy's taunts, she felt powerless. Truth was, the Kidd family didn't hold a candle to the Gregorys, who themselves barely held their own against the Larkins. It was all just bravado on her part.

Meanwhile, Jasmine picked out a few fresh and trendy dresses for Fiona, styles she hadn't tried before.

"Come on, give them a go, Fiona! Winning over Jackson will be a breeze!"

For the first time, Fiona found herself puzzled by her own youthful wardrobe choices.

Amy, chilling with Jasmine, watched with a smirk as she flipped through a fashion magazine filled with the season’s latest trends.

"So, you and Fiona go way back?" Amy suddenly asked.

Jasmine shut the magazine and shot her a glance, opting to stay mum.

Amy's eagerness to help Fiona had always been a head-scratcher. Despite Fiona's top honors, with Amy's status, there was no need for such effort unless Amy knew Fiona's true potential and had her own agenda.

Jasmine let her play along, chuckling softly. "Spill it, what do the Gregorys want with Fiona? We're both seasoned at this game, no need for charades. Even if you keep mum, I'll find out eventually."

"Well then, Jasmine, I guess you'll have to do some digging. Suddenly, I don't feel like sharing," Amy replied with a cheeky grin.

"You'll regret this!" Jasmine's eyes flashed with resolve.

As they sparred, Fiona stepped out in a pale yellow dress, a breath of fresh air that caught everyone's eye, especially Jasmine's, who'd never seen Fiona in something so chic before.
