Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time (by Zora Pradeep) novel Chapter 177

After a few more exchanges, she ended the call.

Just then, someone knocked and entered. “Director Brown, the meeting is about to start.”

“Got it.”

Julia said as she set the phone down and left the office. On her way to the meeting room, she saw Maggie talking to Mr. Kim about work.

Although Julia knew that the cooperation between Wilson Tech and Cole was ongoing, and that Cole’s technical staff would regularly come to Wilson Tech for system maintenance, she didn’t expect to run into Maggie at Wilson Tech today.

Maggie noticed her gaze. As soon as she saw it was Julia, she didn’t hesitate for a second and turned her

eyes away.

Around 10 AM.

Maggie turned to go to the restroom, but as she stepped out, she saw Franklin.

He must have arrived recently, as he was leaning against the wall, seemingly waiting for someone.

Without hesitation, she was about to walk past him when Franklin spoke up. “Grandmother fell last night

and fractured her thigh bone. She needs a bone replacement.”

Maggie abruptly stopped in her tracks and turned back to face him.

Franklin told her which hospital Old Madam Wilson was at, as well as her room number, then added, “She really wants you to go see her.”

Maggie didn’t say anything and was about to leave when Julia just happened to walk out from inside.

She was a little surprised to see Franklin.

She hadn’t known he had come to Wilson Tech as well.

And now, they were talking….

She stopped, her lips pressed tightly together.

Maggie didn’t bother with them and immediately turned toward the restroom.

By the time she came back, Franklin and Julia were no longer around.

She resumed her work.

Around 11 AM, after completing the system maintenance, she and the Cole team left Xundu and returned

to Cole.

At lunch, Maggie told her grandmother about Old Madam Wilson’s fall.

Her grandmother was shocked.

She said, “Come with me to the hospital to see her tonight.”

No matter what the relationship between Maggie and Franklin was, Old Madam Wilson had helped the Miller family a lot when they were in their most difficult time.

If it weren’t for Old Madam Wilson’s help back then, there would be no Miller family today.

This kindness was something her grandmother would never forget.

Maggie agreed, “Okay.”

In the afternoon, Maggie finished work early and went to the Miller family home for a meal. Then, she picked up her grandmother and they headed to the orthopedic hospital.

Maggie wasn’t surprised to see Isabella. She reached out to gently pat her head. “You came after school, didn’t you?”

“Yes!” Isabella smiled brightly when she saw her, and then called out to Old Madam Wilson, “Great–grandmother.

Old Madam Miller, seeing how hard it was for her to sit up due to her injury, quickly stopped her. “How could you not tell us about such a big thing?
