Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time (by Zora Pradeep) novel Chapter 191

Chapter 191

Inside the theater, they found their seats, and Daisy sat in the middle. As soon as she sat down, she placed the popcorn on her lap, ate one piece, and then urged Maggie to eat some too.

Maggie reached over, took one, and ate it.

Afterward, Daisy urged Harry to eat as well.

To accommodate Daisy’s preferences, Harry had chosen an animated movie that had just been released,

one that was suitable for children.

Though it was an animated film, the story was lively, interesting, with both laughter and tears. Maggie found herself enjoying it as well.

The three of them ate popcorn and watched the movie together.

Time passed, and when Maggie reached for another piece of popcorn, just as she was about to pull her

hand back, Harry happened to stretch his hand out as well. His large hand gently landed on the back of her hand, grasping it.

Maggie froze for a moment.

Harry also paused, realizing what had happened.

In Maggie’s mind, it seemed like nothing more than an accidental touch. It wasn’t a big deal.

As she thought this, Harry quickly pulled his hand back and said, “Sorry.”

Maggie smiled slightly. “It’s fine.”

Daisy was so absorbed in the movie that she didn’t notice what had just happened between them.

Seeing that Daisy’s popcorn was nearly finished, Maggie didn’t reach for any more.

Harry noticed but thought that perhaps she was avoiding him.

He lowered his gaze and didn’t eat any more popcorn himself.

Not long after, Daisy, having drunk too much soda, needed to go to the restroom. Maggie took her to the

restroom.

Since it was a matter of gender, Harry politely said, “Sorry to trouble you

Maggie responded, “No trouble at all.”

A while later, when they came out of the restroom, a little boy was walking out of the men’s restroom. When he saw Maggie and Daisy, he immediately recognized them.

Maggie and Daisy quickly blended into the crowd and returned to their seats to continue watching the movie.

“Mom,” the boy said, walking up to Maria,

“I’m done. Let’s go,” he added.

It was none other than Maria’s son, David.

David didn’t like Maggie. Even though they had just crossed paths, he didn’t call out to anyone.

At the same time, María, who had been talking on the phone, hadn’t noticed Maggie either.

However, after a while, David, feeling a bit bored, brought up Maggie to his mother, saying, “Mom, I just

saw Aunt Miller.”

María wasn’t paying much attention. “Oh? Really?”

“Yeah,” David confirmed. “She was with another little kid, but it wasn’t Isabella, your niece.”

María still wasn’t very concerned. “Is that so?”

Her indifferent response revealed that she didn’t really care much about Maggie.

Hearing this, she assumed it must have been a child from the Miller family, so she didn’t think much of it.

After leaving the cinema, they headed to the Wilson family’s old house.

David, still a little afraid of Franklin, greeted him obediently, saying, “Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle.”
