He looked over at her, then held out his hand. “Guess I found out two of your secrets today- about Raven and your storage space. So, to be fair, I’ll tell you one of mine.”

Caroline reached out and took his hand, surprised by the offer.

Before she could say anything, her surroundings shifted. Her hand was still in his, but the world around her changed.

She snapped back to reality and realized she was standing inside a dim room packed with items–even the coal they’d just collected.

She froze, stunned for a moment. Anyone would be if they were suddenly somewhere else.

A few seconds later, she blinked, and they were back on the same rooftop. Tyler was still holding her hand.

He saw her startled look and smiled faintly.

Caroline didn’t know something.

With all the storage spaces showing up–some controlled by the government, others by various groups and leaders–there were only around 20 in the whole world.

Out of those, only four could enter living beings. Hers and Tyler’s were two of them.

But only Caroline’s storage space had no time restriction.

Three of the storage spaces could be upgraded.

But two of them could only boost how much stuff they held.

Caroline’s was different. Her storage space could level up in every possible way.

It was also the only one that could both evolve and go inside living things.

Still, Tyler sharing such a big secret with her really touched her.
