Girl's Doomsday Rebirth Revenge & Survive novel Chapter 325

TITLE: Doomsday Rebirth 325

CONTENT:
325 Mutant Humans?

After finishing her dessert, Caroline decided to take a short nap inside the house. When she finally woke up, night had already wrapped the world in its dark embrace.

As soon as she stepped outside, her two beloved pets eagerly rushed to greet her. Raven wagged his tail wildly, his excitement impossible to contain, while Jet swooped down and nestled right into her arms. “Dear Human! I missed you so much!” he chirped affectionately.

It was obvious Jet had been binge-watching those palace dramas again, completely absorbed in his favorite shows.

Since Jet had leveled up recently, Caroline found herself often playing with the small tuft of feathers perched atop his head. She’d smooth it down, only to watch it spring back into a curious question mark shape, wobbling and bouncing with every movement. That little quirk never failed to bring a smile to her face.

But Raven surprised her this time. Instead of his usual enthusiastic greeting, he nudged her leg gently with his head, tail wagging steadily, as if trying to get her attention and tell her to check something important.

After a few moments of cuddling and petting, Jet hovered in the air, his voice urgent. “Human, look! Something strange is growing in the hydroponics!”

Caroline noticed his face had turned an unusual shade of purple, as if someone had doused him in purple ink. She raised an eyebrow, curious and a bit concerned. Strange? What could that mean?

She hurried to the balcony where the hydroponics rack stood. It had always been there, a familiar part of her home. The storage space was capable of growing all kinds of vegetables, often producing crops that were surprisingly large—like cabbages towering over a person. But mutant plants? That was unheard of.

She had tried planting mutant seeds obtained from the army before, but nothing ever sprouted. Perhaps it was because the storage space itself fed on mutant plants, making it impossible for those seeds to take root.

Luckily, every time she harvested crops inside, she ended up with extra seeds, allowing her to keep growing them endlessly without worry.

The army’s seeds had worked well, consistently yielding solid harvests. In contrast, regular seeds exposed to acid rain never sprouted a single shoot.

Could it really be…?

When she stepped out onto the balcony, she was met with a chaotic sight. Purple liquid was splattered all over the floor and the hydroponics rack, creating a messy, sticky scene.

As she approached, the rack suddenly sprayed another burst of purple goo, accompanied by a strange “Ah, ptooey!” sound.

Caroline froze in place. There, standing about two feet tall, was a cactus-like plant with two dragon fruits dangling from its branches.

That odd “Ah, ptooey!” noise? It was coming from the fruits themselves.

Any living thing that came close was met with a spit attack.
