Girl's Doomsday Rebirth Revenge & Survive novel Chapter 365

365 The Triangle Trap

Without a second thought, Raven dashed out the door, his movements swift and resolute.

Meanwhile, inside the dimly lit lab, Nelson paced back and forth twice, his mind tangled in confusion and frustration. He searched desperately for something to wear—anything. Not a single spare outfit was in sight, not even a bedsheet to cover himself. And the thought of putting on clothes taken from a corpse was utterly repulsive. What if someone suddenly walked in at this very moment? The idea sent a shiver down his spine.

Nelson may have been a mad scientist, but he wasn’t some exhibitionist who enjoyed parading around half-naked.

Down below, Tyler was already sprinting across a vast field littered with the remains of countless bug corpses, his focus locked on Lisa.

The instant Lisa caught sight of him, her pupils constricted sharply. Tyler looked like death incarnate—bloodied, furious, and relentless. With a single thought, she commanded every last bug still under her control to hurl themselves at him, forming a living barricade of writhing flesh between them.

But Tyler didn’t hesitate or slow his pace. His metallic arm blades cut through the swarm like a scythe through wheat. If a god were standing in his path, he’d slice through it without mercy.

A torrent of blood rained down from above.

Behind Tyler, Caroline raised her left arm, steely determination blazing in her eyes. A cold, almost cruel laugh escaped her lips as she prepared to activate an ability that would aid Tyler in this desperate fight.

Lisa vanished deeper into the sea of bugs, the dark mass rising from the water like thick curtains, layer upon layer, forming an impenetrable wall.

Tyler’s long blades sliced repeatedly, but the sheer number of insects was overwhelming. They blocked his vision entirely.

For two relentless minutes, Tyler fought like a storm unleashed. He trampled over bug corpses as he slashed forward, but the swarm was endless, fearless, and closing in from all sides. Lisa was nowhere to be found.

His movements grew faster, his form a blur of motion, but the bugs showed no fear of death. They piled on, layer after layer, until they created a suffocating black wall in midair.

Within that writhing mass, Lisa shifted positions constantly, disappearing and reappearing like a ghost. It was impossible to pin her down.

Then the bugs surged forward again.

Fortunately, because Lisa had drawn many of them away to protect herself, fewer bugs remained to press the assault. The soldiers below finally caught a brief moment to catch their breath.

Caroline scanned the weary fighters on the lower floor, her jaw tightening with resolve. This could not drag on any longer.

They had to take Lisa down. They had to end the swarm.

Lisa must know the secret to controlling the bugs’ retreat. If they could capture her, the invasion would cease.

Caroline despised feeling threatened—and Lisa had the audacity to use threats against her?

Very well. If Lisa dared to come knocking, she would face the full consequences.

They would capture her, force her to stop this insect nightmare, and ensure she never targeted Nelson again.
