Girl's Doomsday Rebirth Revenge & Survive novel Chapter 381

**TITLE: Doomsday Rebirth 381**
**Chapter 381: Sneaking into Building B**

As the night enveloped the world outside, Caroline steeled herself for what lay ahead. She was determined to track down Nelson, driven by a pressing need to discuss a potential solution to the mutant mosquitoes and flies that plagued their existence.

A wave of anxiety washed over her. In her previous life, those grotesque mutant mosquitoes had been colossal—some even larger than Jet. The chilling memory of witnessing one pierce a person’s eye, siphoning the entire eyeball from its socket, sent shivers down her spine.

And the mutant flies? Their presence was nothing short of a nightmare. When they filled the air, the cacophony they created resembled the thunderous roar of helicopters hovering above. They were thieves, pilfering food, spreading disease, and sowing chaos wherever they went.

“We have to get ready,” Caroline thought, urgency gripping her heart.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity of searching, Caroline spotted Nelson. He rushed toward her, his eyes glistening with tears. “Caroline, my experiment failed!” he exclaimed, his voice a mix of desperation and sorrow.

Concerned, she pressed him for details. After a moment of hesitation, he revealed the truth—he had attempted to extract Raven’s blood in hopes of replicating his extraordinary ability to grow and shrink for an experiment at Handsy lab. But it had backfired spectacularly.

With a heavy heart, Nelson led Caroline into the lab, his demeanor a mixture of defeat and frustration.

Inside, her eyes widened in disbelief. Handsy lay sprawled on the floor, now more massive than ever. The plant had grown to an astonishing length of over 18 feet, its girth so substantial that it could barely navigate the cramped space.

To be honest, he looked downright bloated.

As Handsy caught sight of Caroline, he attempted to greet her by extending his enormous leaves. But those leaves were a danger in their own right; if one of them were to strike Nelson again, it wouldn’t just leave a mark—it could very well crack a few ribs.

“Caroline, I’m utterly devastated!” Nelson lamented, his voice cracking under the weight of his disappointment. “I tried three times, and all Handsy does is grow! He can’t shrink at all—he just keeps getting bigger! If he grows any more, he’ll break through the roof! I had no choice but to halt the experiment.” Regret clouded his eyes, a reflection of his inner turmoil.

Meanwhile, Caroline’s thoughts were racing in a different direction—how on earth were they going to get Handsy out of the lab now that he had ballooned to this size?

When she broached the subject of creating a repellent or a medicine to combat the mutant mosquitoes and flies, Nelson’s expression shifted dramatically. His eyes ignited with fervor as he turned to her, a spark of determination lighting up his features. “Mutant mosquitoes, mutant flies—they don’t stand a chance!”

Caroline blinked in surprise.

Was this an overreaction stemming from his recent failure?

For reasons she couldn’t quite explain, she felt a twinge of sympathy for those unfortunate mutant insects, as if they were about to face an inevitable doom.

Later that same night, Caroline and Tyler donned dark clothing, blending into the shadows as they stealthily made their way to the rear of Building B.

Tyler, having scouted the area beforehand, pointed towards a dimly lit room on the upper floor. “That’s Crow’s room,” he whispered, his voice barely audible above the night’s silence.
