**TITLE: Doomsday Rebirth 434**
**Chapter 434: The Bald Guy Grew a Forest**
When they took another look at Nelson, the transformation was astonishing. His hair had burgeoned beyond the confines of the wooden tub he was submerged in, cascading down like a dark waterfall. It was over a foot and a half long, and it showed no signs of stopping.
Not only was it long, but it was also impressively thick.
Thick, glossy, pitch-black hair—an absolute dream come true for any bald man navigating the chaos of the apocalypse.
But the surprises didn’t end there.
Five hours later, as dusk began to settle over the horizon, Nelson’s hair had grown so extensively that it now trailed across the floor like a dense carpet.
Caroline stood there, her eyes wide with disbelief. The weight of the hair had altered Nelson’s sleeping position; he had initially dozed off with his head leaning forward on the rim of the tub. Now, the sheer mass of his hair had yanked his head back, forcing his neck into an uncomfortable arc, leaving his mouth agape.
Just then, Denton and Tyler strolled into the room. The moment they laid eyes on Nelson, who had transformed from bald to a veritable mane overnight, they were left speechless. Of the two, Denton was the most intrigued.
He reached out, poking Nelson’s forehead gently, before lifting a handful of the thick hair to toy with it. “Caroline,” he called out, his voice laced with curiosity, “what kind of wild experiment has Nelson conducted this time? Is this some kind of super hair-growth serum?”
Caroline turned to him, a chuckle escaping her lips. “Denton, could you do me a favor and support Nelson’s head for a moment? If he keeps bending backward like that, he’s going to wake up with a neck that feels like it’s been through a war.”
Denton, standing right beside him, complied, propping up Nelson’s head with a gentle hand.
With nothing else to occupy his time, he began to braid the thick strands of hair, his fingers deftly weaving the locks together.
By the time night fell and Nelson finally stirred awake, Denton was on braid number fifty-six, his concentration unwavering.
The instant Nelson blinked his eyes open, Denton halted his handiwork and grinned widely. “Hey there, you’re awake! Did you know you’ve grown an entire head of braids while you were off in dreamland?”
Nelson, still dazed and utterly confused, cast a glance down at the water in the tub and caught sight of his reflection.
His eyes widened in shock, as if he were searching for something—or someone.
Moments later, his gaze landed on Caroline, who was engaged in lighthearted banter with Tyler nearby.
With a burst of excitement, he thrust his hand skyward, exclaiming, “Carolineeeee! Your spring water is absolutely incredible! I have hair again! And it even comes with a stylish flair!”
Caroline could only stare, speechless.
Honestly, it was comical how well these two complemented each other.
One had the audacity to spin wild tales, while the other would readily believe every word.
When Nelson finally made his way to the 40th floor, the reaction was nothing short of astonishment. Everyone, including Francis, was taken aback.
