Girl's Doomsday Rebirth Revenge & Survive novel Chapter 441

**TITLE: Doomsday Rebirth 441**
**Chapter 441: The Man Who Wouldn’t Die**

As Caroline pivoted toward the door, a sudden sound of footsteps echoed in the hallway, halting her in her tracks.

Nelson strode in, his demeanor a mixture of fatigue and irritation, his brow furrowed in a way that suggested he had just endured a long, arduous day.

But the moment his eyes fell upon the scene before him, he came to an abrupt stop, his expression shifting from annoyance to disbelief. There, sprawled on the floor, was Shane, blissfully indulging in a cupcake, crumbs scattered around him like confetti.

Nelson’s already sour mood soured further, snapping like a brittle twig underfoot.

That was his favorite cupcake, a delightful treat that he could instantly recognize as one of Caroline’s creations.

In Nelson’s mind, Shane was undeserving of such a delicacy. The boy should be munching on those artificial, chemical-laden snacks, not a genuine, freshly baked cupcake that Caroline had lovingly prepared.

Fury bubbled within him, and he felt the urge to unleash his wrath.

Yet, he was acutely aware of the unpredictable nature of Shane, and so he approached with caution, each step deliberate and measured.

The others in the room noticed his return, their eyes flickering with curiosity. Caroline opened her mouth, poised to inquire about his recent trip, but Nelson raised a finger to his lips, silencing her with a mere gesture.

Caroline followed his gaze and quickly grasped the situation. Nelson’s intense stare was fixated on Shane, who was savoring the cupcake as if it were the last morsel of heaven. Instantly, she understood; Nelson was concocting a plan to confront him. She promptly sealed her lips, sensing the tension in the air.

Nelson approached Shane, his eyes narrowing with a predatory glint, a silent storm brewing beneath his calm exterior. “Is it good?” he asked, his voice steady but laced with barely contained irritation.

Shane, completely engrossed in his treat, didn’t even bother to look up. He merely accelerated his eating, as if worried that someone might snatch it away from him.

“So good! Way better than the ones you gave me,” Shane replied, his words dripping with unfiltered honesty.

This response nearly sent Nelson over the edge. I’m going to lose it. The urge to strangle him was palpable. What on earth am I supposed to do with this kid?!

But after spending countless hours navigating Shane’s unpredictable personality, Nelson had learned to adapt. He leaned closer, lowering his voice conspiratorially, “Do you want cupcakes from me every day? Or just that one special cupcake once a year?”

Shane, having just polished off the last bite, froze at the question.

Finally, he turned his head, his eyes widening in realization that it was Nelson addressing him.

A spark of excitement ignited in Shane’s eyes. “You can give me cupcakes every day?” he exclaimed, his voice bubbling with enthusiasm.
