Chapter 106
Chapter106
Warrick’s POV
I watch as Evan runs slightly left, out of the corner of my eye. Her hair was put into a tight bun, when? I don’t know, but it seems like all of the women have tight buns. She gets blood over her in seconds, when she pulls her sword out and lops the head off an incoming wolf.
I direct my attention to the f*cker a couple feet in front of me, running at full speed and shift my hand into my claws ripping out his heart when he gets close. Viggo is growling throughout my head, just begging to be released. But the plan is not to do so until the last minute, to catch then off guard. Rain starts to pour as ! now can only see about ten feet in front of me. We had a feeling this would happen at some point, but didn’t
know when.
As I run though the rain I hear the screams and clashing around me. I stop when I see a group of 3 appear in front of me with weapons raised. Wasting no time, I pull my sword and block an incoming hit. I guide the rain to part around us, surprising them and killing one in the process. Flames lick down the sword as I knick another, and the flame spreads to engulf him. The other stares at me with wide eyes and he transports away from me. I grunt as I release the rain and scan my surroundings. There are about 200 enemy forces. More pouring in and I curse to myself, we didn’t account for them having this many people.
Out of the 2,000 we had 1,000 are spread out along the other borders to ensure there are no double attacks. We have 500 fighting now and another 500 waiting for our second wave.
I am distracted from my thoughts with the transporter popping behind me with two more people, it seems like two is the highest number they can transport. All three rushing me with weapons drawn, a vine wrapped around my ankle trying to keep me in place. I pivot, chop the vine, and bring my sword up, catching one of the offenders across the stomach. Another stabs into the armor I am wearing and I am grateful that this is impenetrable. The transporter swings his blade toward my neck, and I chop off his hand, leaving him to scream as I deal with the next person, stabbing through his armor and piercing his heart.
I turn around to a roar and realize that the transporter brought back a bear before he shriveled up and died. Dodging the swinging paw, I call my claw and run it down the bear’s side. It roars, turning and attacking me again. This time I dodge and part the rain, calling to my flame again as I shoot it toward the bear. It squeals as he charges toward me in a heap of flames. Well that didn’t go how I thought it would.
Dodging it again, I call the rain to put the fire out and swing my body to land on top of the bear, hanging on as it starts to stand. I plunge another knife in the side of its neck as it flings himself backward to trample me. I jump off before he can and once it’s on its back I stab it in the heart. Killing it.
I don’t have time to catch my breath before the next round of people are transported in. There are wing beats behind me and I know from that sound that we have lost a raid, may it be from wound or death. The dragon’s come in when we need a distraction until the next raid gets.
Lightning strikes the sky from places, aiming for our dragons. One strike makes its mark and the dragon soars down and eats one of the/people responsible for the strikes..
I am pulled from the distraction by the now four people closing in around me. I part the rain, throwing flames around me as I begin to choke them on the water in their bodies. It takes a moment, but they collapse after and I release the fire continuing on my path of destruction.

Chapter 106
After the goddess knows how long and how many bodies, there is a alight break in attack. I look around to. see dozens of bodies laying around.
I see Sirena calling to the enemy and about half of the remaining enemy warriors run to her. As they pass through a ward, made by the witches, Henry drowns them once they enter. The ward ensures that they cannot run. As I turn, it’s then that I realize that the enemy is more than just rogues, there are pack scents mixed with them.
I turn further and see Marie and Tali, fighting four fae, a bear and a wolf, but when I go to make my way towards them to help I hear my angel’s voice.
“No! Let him go!” Evan yells as I whip my head in the direction of her voice. In a shimmering gray shield, I see that vile man holding Jaxon with a blade to his throat and my heart stops as I watch.
Jax’s eyes become focused and Franklin begins to tremble as fire licks his ankles. Franklin pushes Jax away and plunges his knife in his chest before throwing him out of the shield.
“NO!” Evan screams as she rushes toward the man with weapons drawn. He is quick with the dodges.
“I gave you time to come back, plenty of opportunities to join me.” He says, dodging ALL of her moves, even as she throws fire and water and whatever else she had at him. He somehow knows exactly what she is going to do and rocks settle at the bottom of my stomach. He is using the dark magic to predict her moves, he is toying with her.

I run to them, hoping that by some miracle that damn ward will be down when I get there. I cut through a plow over the fighting people, all that matters is her. I stop when a dagger embed itself in my shoulder. “Oh, Warry. You should have just stayed with me.” I hear a disgusting voice. Turning around quickly I see Haldey with an evil grin on her face as she draws a weapon. I go to attack and she slices through an arm. When did she get this good?
She tisks at me. “Don’t underestimate me honey.” She says as she pivots and begins to swipe at me with her short sword. I quickly pull my sword and begin to counter.
After what seems like forever, I find an opening and grab my dagger, shoving it into her side. She gasps and collapses, looking at me in shock.
“We could have been happy.” She chokes and I growl.
“In no world could I have been happy with a b*tch like you. Only my mate.” I seeth and she gasps again as l stab her through her cold heart.
I stop about twenty feet away when I hear Frankf*ck roar.
“YOU LET HIM MARK YOU?!” Franklin screams and my heart stops when I turn and see him grab Evan’s throat and begins to suffocate her. Sh*t. I was distracted by Hadley.
What the hell am I supposed to do? I can’t just sit here and watch as he kills her. Somehow her gifts have stopped working and I have a feeling it’s because of the damn shield, because it has grown darker almost as if I am watching this in the middle of the night. He tosses her to the ground and punches again and again. Screaming that she chose the wrong King.
“WARRICK!” I hear screamed and I turn behind me at the call of my name, it’s then that I see her. Ziana, running in towards a group of people that I didn’t see before. A blonde appears behind her and grabs her shoulder, transporting them to the groups of people in my peripheral area. I watch as Ziana pulls the heart of
