Warrick’s POV

*Beep Beep Beep* I open my eyes and reach over to shut off the alarm clock. I couldn’t sleep last night due to my guilt. I shouldn’t have tried to kiss Evan. I could barely look Hadley in the face when we went to bed,

She groans and wraps her arm around my waist.

“No… Don’t leave.” She grumbles into my chest.

“We. Darling. We have to leave. Training is at 6:00.” I say while brushing the hair from her face. Visuals of me doing the same thing to Evan pop in my head and I push them down.

“No. I don’t train. You go.” She says and I turn her face to look at me.

“Come on. We need to get ready.” I say as I pull her from me and get up. She groans even harder and drags herself from the bed.

“But Baby. I don’t need training. I am an Alpha’s daughter.” She wines and I can’t help the eyeroll that passes. Viggo scoffs in my head in disgust, but I ignore him.

“It’s mandatory for everybody. And being that you are going to be Luna soon, you need to be there.” I answer and I see a slight sparkle in her eye.

“You’re right. I do need to set a good example for our people.” She answers happily.

We do our morning routine and get changed, making our way to get some protein shakes. There are many people around the castle, all in workout gear, and all trudging along for being up so early. We make our way to the training grounds to find about a quarter of Evan’s pack there stretching. She is in the center of a smaller group speaking to the kids there. They all have smiles on their faces and are nodding excitedly. I can’t help but admire her and maybe check out her body.

As I am scorning myself for the thoughts I see the group of kids make their way to the sidelines with excitement. Evan turns and makes her way to me and Viggo starts panting in my head. I admonish him, but then he starts growling lowly and I see the reason for that, as jealousy spikes.

Evan wasn’t making her way towards me, she was making her way toward Jaxon who I now notice is standing 20 feet in front of me.

They laugh which sparks more jealousy in me. Then Evan claps her hands loudly.

“Alright everyone!” She yells. I look around to notice that it seems like this morning class is made up of mostly my pack.

“I am going to explain some things before training. This will be rigorous and we will be watching to see what level each person is at. If you need extra work you will be tapped to move to one of our other schedu training sessions. First we start with warm ups, then we move to sparring. You will be sparring for 10 minutes in hand to hand combat, then 10 minutes hand to hand adding in magic, after which we will move to everything. Weapons are not permitted there will be another training session for weapons which everybody.js welcome to join. IF ANYBODY does not follow the rules, or goes too far there will be punishment.” She pauses.

“One if a spar goes too far you will spar with me, two if magic goes too far you will be cuffed with an

eliminator made of silver. This does not hurt, the only thing it does is vold your magic and slow your healing a bit. This will stay on for a full day, till the end of the next training session. Three, sparing goes too far and the anger consumes you to almost kill your partner or anybody else, you will be cuffed then forced to spar with me. The cuffs stay on for three days. Take this as your warning, do not break the rules. Lastly to end the training you split into groups of ten and I will explain further when we get to that point. Any questions? She asks as murmurs erupt.

“You put people in silver?” A woman shrieks then looks towards me. “Alpha you can’t possibly allow this. She says and I bristle at the thought of her questioning me.

“Alpha Evan is leading the training session, her rules. Listen to them.” I say sternly and she eeks then looks to Evan.

“Alright, warm up. Everybody runs 2 mile, then we do 100 pushups, 100 situps, and 100 burpees. Annnndddd GO!” She yells and everybody takes off running. She looks over and sees me standing there, her gaze drops to

Hadley who is standing at my side.

“Is there a reason you are not running Alpha?” She asks, ignoring Hadley. I stutter, looking at her curiously.

“Morning training for you and your Beta. And. Hadley.” She almost growls out Hadley’s name.

“What about you?” Hadley almost sneers and I shift uncomfortably.
