Debra's coming-of-age ceremony had passed some time ago.

Andrew sensed something was off with his body. For a while, another soul seemed to take over.

One day, he stood before a mirror. The reflection looked the same as always. But the other soul flooded him with memories. Debra lived a completely different life in another world.

"Andrew!" Debra burst into the bedroom, shattering the silence.

She saw Andrew's white shirt and suit jacket strewn on the floor. He stood shirtless before the mirror, his hair disheveled.

It was strange because Andrew hated mess. He never let himself look this rough, even alone.

"What is..." Before she could finish, Andrew pulled her into a tight hug.

His body was warm, but the embrace felt different. She couldn't quite place it. He'd never held her like that.

"What's wrong?" She peeked up from his arms.

"Go on," he said.

She forgot why she had come. Stunned, she shuffled out of his room.

As the door clicked shut, she still didn't get why he had said that.

"Do you think Andrew doesn't like me anymore? Like I'm annoying, and he wants me gone?" she asked Erica, sitting on a bench at Arcane Academy.

Erica had come to pick her up for a college enrollment party. Her enrollment had delayed the celebration, but it was happening now.

When Erica heard Debra's worry, she blinked. "You're nuts. Who in the world might not like you? Andrew Potter? No way."
