Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right novel Chapter 1874

On Debra's graduation day, the Potters set the wedding for a month later.

Everyone knew the Frazier family princess was marrying the Potter family head. News outlets scrambled for headlines.

The day before the wedding, Debra sat at home, gazing at her reflection with bridal makeup. A shy smile was on her face.

Her mother entered, beaming. "Girl, you look stunning. You'll be the prettiest bride tomorrow."

Debra blushed. "Mom, was Dad this romantic when you two got married?"

Andrew had gone all out, designing her wedding dress and planning every detail. She hadn't lifted a finger.

Lori sighed, "Don't even get me started on your dad. He looks all scholarly, but on our wedding day? Total mess. Flubbed the vows, fumbled everything, and addressed my dad formally like doing business. And he couldn't hold drinks, passing out cold that night."

At the door, Gael shivered, unsure if he should enter or flee.

"Dad?" Debra called out.

He flinched, then tried to sound calm. "Just checking on my girl before she ties the knot."

"Do I look good?" she asked.

In it, she was married to someone she deeply loved. She couldn't see his face, but his warmth felt real.

When she woke, it was still dark, but the house buzzed with activity.

Erica arrived, and the makeup and styling team knocked at 4:30 a.m.

"Girl, wake up!" Erica urged. "You're getting married! Get it on!"

"I'm wiped. Why can't weddings be at night?" Debra groaned.
