“You do, Uncle Calvin. I know the truth about what happened back then. I can’t blame you,” Sienna said calmly.

Calvin was caught off guard. ‘How could she possibly know?‘ he thought, shocked. The next second, he started coughing hard from the surge of emotion, grabbing a handkerchief to cover his mouth–only to see blood staining the fabric.

“Uncle Calvin, don’t move,” Sienna said, reaching out to check his pulse. Her face darkened–his body was in way worse shape than she’d imagined.

“Reno, bring me a ZS serum, now,” she ordered.

“Sienna, it’s just the same old problem. I’m fine. But you–where have you been these past ten years? We’ve all been searching for you, but…” Calvin said worriedly.

Sienna gave a faint smile. “Uncle Calvin, I’m really okay. There was a plane crash, and I was lucky enough to survive, but I lost my memory because of it. Your legs…”

Calvin forced a smile. “I’m fine, really. As long as you all are healthy, that’s all that matters to me.”

“Dad! Are you okay? Who are you? Why are you with my dad?” A guy with eye–catching silver hair rushed over, shoving Sienna aside. He had that rebellious, bad–boy charm that filled him.

He shot Sienna a fierce glare, convinced she was just some scheming woman trying to get close to his dad for her own benefit. ‘Seriously? Even when my dad’s like this, she still won’t back off. How shameless can she get?‘ he thought angrily.

“Josef, she’s your cousin. Show some respect,” Calvin said.

Josef looked totally lost, thinking hard. “Cousin? Since when do I have a cousin? Dad, don’t tell me you’re eyeing some lady and trying to set me up or something-”

Calvin nearly choked from anger, coughing hard. “You little brat! Have you lost your mind? What kind of nonsense is that? She’s your aunt’s daughter!”

Suddenly, it clicked for Josef. He remembered now–the aunt who’d cut all ties with the family and ended her own life–Selina.

“Sorry, I totally misspoke. Nice to meet you. My name’s Josef Bayer,‘ he said, a little embarrassed.

“Sienna Hart,” she replied.

It was only then that Josef really noticed just how stunningly beautiful she was. He gaped at her in shock, pointing, “You… you’re Sienna Hart? Miss Enna?”

Sienna nodded. “Hi.”

Josef’s eyes went wide, and he practically shouted, “Whoa! Dad, she’s Miss Enna from Hart Corporation! She’s actually my cousin!”

He got so excited he thumped his dad on the shoulder, almost making Calvin choke from the sudden hit.

“Enough, I get it. Shut up and give me some space/ Calvin grumbled, trying to catch his breath.

Josef grinned at Sienna, his eyes sparkling. “Sienna, you’re incredible! You’re a real big shot in Vallaris now. Do you have any secrets to your success? Mind sharing a little with me?”

“Shut up, you little brat.” Calvin cleared his throat and snapped, taking a deep breath to calm himself,

Sienna chuckled. “You really want to know?”
