As the audio played, a shadowy figure appeared in the video.

The moment she saw it, Linda’s face twisted in panic.

The scene changed, and another person walked into view–a woman with a curvy figure.

“Relax. If I wasn’t completely sure about this, why would I work with you?” The woman moved closer, her face becoming visible under the dim light. In the nighttime setting, everyone could clearly see it was Linda.

“You stole the design director’s drafts. Keep your story straight. Don’t give them anything to use against you,” the man’s voice continued, low and sharp, like a warning.

“Don’t worry. I wiped all traces a long time ago. No one could find proof now,” the woman replied with a confident laugh.

“Good. Then here’s to a successful partnership. My dear chief designer, Tranquil Vision will be proud of you.” The man turned, fully facing the camera.

It was the same man who had been shouting the loudest all evening–Lonny, from Tranquil Vision. The second his face appeared clearly, a gasp rippled through the crowd.

Everyone stared in shock. Weren’t these the same two people who had been making the most noise just moments ago–Lonny and Linda?

One moment they were acting bold, chests puffed out as they blamed others; the next they were exposed on video, their secret deal laid bare for everyone to see.

The footage made everything clear: the two of them had conspired to frame Cosmos Group. Lonny even admitted he knew Linda had stolen the design director’s drafts. And everyone knew that design director was Chloe.

“See? That’s solid evidence. Linda, do you have anything else to say?” Diana’s face flushed with anger. The moment she saw the video, a heavy weight lifted off her chest–she finally felt relief.

Linda would pay for what she had done.

As soon as Lonny saw the footage, his first instinct was to run. But the scene was packed; every corner was filled with onlookers, and there was nowhere to go.

“When you’re up against money and power, someone like me doesn’t stand a chance. Chloe, you’ve got Cosmos Group backing you. They can produce one video–or ten, or a hundred. Who knows? Next, you might even claim you have Bedroom footage of me and Lonny, right?”

Lonny had been scrambling for a way out, eyes darting around for an exit. But when he heard Linda’s words, he caught on and raised his voice even louder.

“I love my wife. She’s the only one for me. Everyone at the company knows that.” He raised a hand, his face deadly serious. “If you’re going to smear my name, at least come up with something believable.”

Lisa grew even bolder. “Chloe, why don’t you tell everyone what your relationship with Mr. Voss really is? What gave you the right to walk in as design director on day one?

“Linda has been working hard at LOVE for years. She’s the most talented designer here. Everyone knows she should be the design director. And then you show up out of nowhere? How do you expect anyone to accept that?”

Chloe kept her eyes fixed on Linda. She didn’t speak, just watched her.

When Linda met Chloe’s gaze, her heart skipped a beat. If she backed down now, she would lose everything. No matter what evidence Chloe presented, as long as people believed she had a special relationship with Landon, public opinion would crush them.

“Chloe, Lisa is right. I don’t accept you as director. I’m the one who created the ‘To Me‘ series–it was a hit for a long time, and everyone loved it. I always thought I would eventually create my own exclusive line for the company.
