The other parents stood by, their expressions a mixture of relief and shame. In that moment, being spared the humiliation of kneeling felt like having their last shred of dignity returned.
A few children shuffled forward nervously. “Robert, are you really leaving Eaton Kindergarten? To be honest… I don’t really want to stay here anymore.”
Tracy saw the children gathering and secretly breathed a sigh of relief. But before she could fully relax, Chloe’s cold voice sliced through the air.
“Mrs. Carter, don’t you think you owe these children an apology?”
Tracy’s face flushed a deep, blotchy red.
Chloe’s tone grew sharper. “As the principal of Eaton Kindergarten, shouldnder others, then just walk
you be the one to lead by example? Does being the principal give you the right to falsely accuse and slander others, then just walk away as if nothing happened?”
Tracy was rendered speechless. She stood there, her face burning with humiliation.
Right then, all eyes were on her–the children, the parents, the teachers, even the medical staff–waiting to see what she would do next.
“And I haven’t forgiven you yet, you know!” Robert added, his young voice ringing with authority.
Tracy stood frozen in awkward silence. Part of her

mouth to protest, her eyes met Keith’s steady gaze.
Keith, the head of the Sunny Group, was watching her intently. If she refused to admit her fault now, wouldn’t that just prove Eaton Kindergarten was practicing double standards?
“Mrs. Carter, you’re not going to break your promise, are you?” Drew shouted. “I already apologized! Why won’t you apologize to Robert?”
Tracy shot Drew a withering glare, wishing she could stuff the words back into his mouth.
She gritted her teeth, her body stiff, her breathing heavy. She was the executive principal of Eaton Kindergarten, a shareholder in the Eaton Group. If word got out that she had knelt to a mere child, how could she ever hold her head high in the company again?
Just as Tracy was searching for a way to change the subject, the sound of a car engine came from outside.
She looked up and saw a familiar MPV. Instantly, she knew her savior had arrived.
The chairman of the Eaton Group was here.
The MPV stopped at the kindergarten gate. The chairman, Sherman Martin, stepped out without hesitation and strode purposefully inside.
He spotted Keith immediately and walked over with a broad, practiced smile.

“Mr. Pena, you should have informed me you were coming!” he said, his eyes briefly scanning the crowd. It seems I’m a little late. I see you’ve already found the child you were looking for
Keith gave a soft chuckle. “I thought I’d have to fight to poach talent, but since Eaton doesn’t appreciate him -guess Sunny Kindergarten has landed a treasure.”
A treasure!
That “treasure” was obviously Robert.
All the children looked at Robert with newfound awe. The parents couldn’t hide their envy.
Sherman quickly identified Robert in the crowd. His eyes swept over the scene, finally settling sternly on Tracy.
“Mrs. Carter, what is the meaning of this?”
His voice was heavy with authority, echoing in the courtyard. Tracy flinched the moment she heard it.
She was tongue–tied. Drew quickly piped up, explaining how Tracy had tried to expel Robert and force him to kneel in apology.
