“You and your buddy are makin‘ this very difficult,” I said right after Minion #1 was done screaming.
Havoc, Psy.cho, Dragon, and I have been down here with these two for what feels like a few hours. I’m not sure how long it’s actually been, but these two are tight–lipped. Which was surprising. Havoc has cut off fingers, toes, and even clipped Minion #2’s ears. They still weren’t giving answers, but I’ve been watching carefully.
Minion #1 is almost ready to crack, but #2, he won’t.
“Ya know, this seems almost like a waste of time,” I said, stepping forward and pulling out my
gun.
We’d brought them into the same cell, side by side, each tied down to a chair. They were both sweaty and bloody. #1 even pi.ssed himself when Havoc clipped #2’s ears. Which had given me an idea, but I was waiting to see if one of them would talk first. Since they’re not…
“We only need one of you to talk,” I said as I pulled my gun out. I pressed it to #1’s head and flicked off the safety. He squeezed his eyes shut and whimpered, snot and tears running down his face.
I waited a moment before turning the gun to #2. I kept my eyes on #1 as I pulled the trigger. He jumped, his eyes snapping open. They widened when he saw his buddy’s head blown off in the chair beside him. And then panic set in. I could see it. Clear as day. He was already terrified, but now it’d just become a lot more real. He knows I’m not fucking around.
“You gonna talk, or should I just kill you now?” I asked, pressing the gun to his forehead again.
“I–1-1-… w–what do you want to k–know?” he asked with a shaky voice.
“Hmm, first, were you not talkin‘ cause of your friend there?” I asked.

So much for that.
“And who is your boss?” I asked. ‘Is it SD?“”
“N–no, w–well, sort of, he replied. “Mmy boss’s name is Quinn Willems. Wwe worked with SD for a long time. Over the last year they’ve been creating a.. sort of organization with each other. We do all the dirty work p–pretty much, but the pay is… better than we ve ever seen.

“Hve been working for Quinn for a long time. We’ve always done shit like this. I don’t know how Quinn got involved with SD, but e–ever since we’ve been doing jobs for them, we’ve been making more money than I’ve ever even seen,” he told us. “Quinn is one of the smartest people I know too. When SD wanted to collaborate, of course she jumped on it.”
“She?” Havoc asked. “Your boss that deals with trafficking children, mostly little girls, is a
woman?”
“Yes,” #1 replied with a single nod.
I thought about everything that he said. We already know they’re trying to set up permanently for all this bullsh.it. My only concern really is the kids. All the other sh.it they do, I couldn’t give a fuck less about.
“Why set up shop here?” I asked. “Is it because you could pay off the cops?”
“You think this is the only town that has shady cops?” he replied. “Money does things to people. We probably could have gone anywhere with the amount SD was offering the cops.”
“So why here?” I asked again.
“I have no idea, t–truly,” he said. “Quinn doesn’t let us in on everything.”
“Fine,” I replied. There isn’t much more I can ask. I doubt this guy knows more than what he’s just told us. “Tell me, do you know what SD stands for? You know anythin‘ about your buyers?”
“I–1-1 know that they’re fu.cked up,” he said. “Disguising themselves as something they’re not. SD… it stands for Silent Divine.” He scoffed at the end and shook his head. Like he couldn’t believe how disgusting those people were despite the fact that he fu.cking helped them.
“Silent Divine,” I murmured. “What the fu.ck kind of name is that?”
“Trust me, you don’t want to know what goes on there,” he replied.
Little did #1 know… we already knew. We had proof of it. Thousands of fu.cking files that CG is still fucking going through. We knew all about what they were doing to those kids.
“Anythin‘ else you can tell us?” I asked.
“Silent D–Divine… I–I don’t know much about it, but the people who are in charge are powerful. Like, in that old–money kind of way. I remember Quinn arguing with one of our guys about getting involved in the beginning. He was nervous that SD would take us all down. They come from old money, but work like thugs. They don’t leave loose ends,” he told us.

“Where is Quinn now?” I asked him.

“H–I’m not sure,” he replied. “She moves around a lot. She has several homes, all under different names. I don’t even think Quinn is her real name. She doesn’t like sticking to one home for more than a few nights, and she always has a security team with her. I think she has another job, a legal one, but I’m not sure.”
“How can you not be sure?” Dragon asked.
“I wasn’t in her inner circle,” he said. “I was disposable. Six years doesn’t mean sh.it when others have been working for her longer.”
Well, the woman is smart, I’ll give her that.
“Anythin‘ else?” I asked.
“H-… d–don’t-”
I held up my gun again and this time pulled the trigger without a second thought. The room went silent after the echo of the gun. Two lifeless bodies sit before us now.
“How were you sure he didn’t have more info?” Psy.cho asked.
“He couldn’t tell us anythin‘ we didn’t already know,” I said. “Now we know why they waited to leave with the kids, and we have a little more information. You three go get CG and prep him on what was said. I’ll meet you in my room soon. And find Blythe.”
With that, I walked out of the basement. I went straight to my office, slamming the door shut. I sat down on my office chair and leaned my head back as I sighed. I just can’t seem to dispel this anger. It’s just getting worse and worse.
Suddenly, I heard the door to my office open. I briefly wondered if it was Psy.cho, so I didn’t open my eyes. There aren’t many people who have the balls to march right in. However, the very feminine body that slid into my lap was definitely not any of my brothers.
My eyes snapped open to see a pair of electric blue eyes. Bly was smiling as she wrapped her arms around my neck. My lips parted, but no words came out. This is the first time I’ve looked at her in days, really looked at her.
“Bly, w–what are you doin‘ here?” I asked, stammering like a fool.
“I missed you,” she replied with a small smile.
“Spark… not right now, okay?” I said. “It’s been a long night.”
“Well, I can make it better,” she murmured as her hands started to drag down my chest, over

“Not tonight,” I said as I grabbed her hands to stop her.
Bly frowned at me.
“What’s going on with you?” she asked.
“Club business babe-”
“I don’t mean that,” she cut me off. “I know you guys have been really busy with whatever is going on, but you’re acting weird.”
“Weird?” I asked with a raised brow.
“Yeah, weird,” she replied as she crossed her arms. “Like you’re avoiding me. Did you just get what you want and are done with me? Did you decide you don’t like the whole sharing thing we’re doing? Or… I–I don’t know… was I… bad at it?”
My eyes widened for a split moment.
“Abso–fu.cking–lutely not, Blythe, you’re amazin‘, Spark.” I said. “Fu.ckin‘ you was the highlight of my life, babe.”
“Then why avoid me, like I’m diseased or something?” she pressed.
“I’m just tired Bly,” I said, getting frustrated.
“Yeah, whatever,” she grumbled as she got off my lap. “Suddenly, you’re too tired for me after getting what you want. Makes no sense, but fine. Be however you want. Put another wedge between us when I was just starting to forgive you.”
“Bly…-”
“Don’t say my name like that,” she cut me off angrily. “Like I’m just some child acting out for attention. You know you’ve been acting weird, Karma. Don’t treat me like I’m stupid.”
“That’s not what-”
“Yes it is!” She interrupted me again. “Don’t lie!”
This time I glared at her.
“Fine! You want to know what I’ve been thinkin‘?” I asked, but I didn’t wait for an answer. “Tell me how you got that fu.ckin‘ brand on your back.”
Blythe’s entire body went rigid.

“Y–you saw that?” She asked.
“Of course I fuckin‘ did,” I replied tightly.
“You never said anything…” she mumbled.
I scoffed.
“Your fuckin‘ husband branded you, how was I supposed to ask about that?” I bit out.
“My husband?” She murmured, confused.
+25 Point
“Cut the shit and just be real with me, Blythe,” I said. “You want to know why I been avoidin‘ you? ‘Cause it’s fuckin‘ hard as hell to look at you when I know your ex fu.ckin‘ branded you! You refuse to tell us what fu.ckin‘ happened to you! We aren’t gettin‘ any–fu.ckin‘–where with that church your father lives at! It’s fu.ckin‘ frustratin‘!”
“You know about that place?” she asked.
My jaw ticked as I slowly stood to my feet. I was fuming now. My anger was practically boiling over.
“Not enough,” I gritted out. “Tell us what happened.”
“Karma-”
“Fuck this,” I cut her off, seething.
I grabbed Blythe’s wrist and dragged her out of my office and down the hall. She complained the entire time about how fast we were going, how I was dragging her, and where we were heading to. I ignored her as I dragged her through the clubhouse. When we got to my room, I flung the door opened and practically threw Blythe inside. She stumbled a bit before regaining her balance.
“What the fu.ck Karma?” Dragon called out as he got up to ask Bly if she was okay.
“Tell me, now,” I demanded, ignoring Dragon as I stared at Blythe,
“Why are you being such an a.sshole!?” She yelled at me.
“Just tell me why the fuck your husband’s initials are branded into your body!” I shouted back.
“It doesn’t stand for Sean Dixon, you fu.cking prick! It stands for Silent Divine!” She exploded.
The room went silent. So silent that you could hear a pin drop. Bly was breathing heavily, glaring at me. I felt like the world had just been pulled out from under me.
