Blythe’s P.O.V.

“Ladies, I think it’s time for me to go,” I told them, my eyes still on CG.
“What? Come on,” Nova complained. “You just got here.”
“She’s been here for hours,” Coco replied with a laugh.
“Yeah, but like… five men keep her busy! We miss her too!” Nova said, making us laugh again.
“We’re on lockdown,” Maddie stated like that solved everything.
“How about I come spend the day with you tomorrow?” I asked as I stood up. “We can make cookies for everyone. Make some of that tea Hazel likes and go visit her? Being on bedrest has got to suck, but I know for a fact that Reaper won’t even let her walk to the bathroom on her own.”
That earned more laughter all around.
“She’s gotta be going crazy over there with his over-protective a.ss,” Maddie snorted.
“Where are all your ol‘ men?” I asked them.
“Doing stuff for Karma,” they all replied in unison.
“Great…” I replied before glancing at CG again. “Tomorrow,” I promised Nova.
“Have a good night,” Willow sang out teasingly.
I waved goodbye to the girls before walking to CG. He pushed off the door–frame when I got closer. He kept his hands in his pockets though, which wasn’t like him. Normally, he’d be all
over me.
“Hey,” I said, keeping just a little bit of space between us.
“Hey Fireball,” he mumbled in reply.
I reached up to tuck a strand of hair that had fallen out of his man–bun behind his ear. My hand lingered there for a moment. When I pulled back, he snatched my hand in his, entwining our fingers. I smiled at him as I leaned against his chest.
“You okay?” I asked, looking up at him.
“I guess,” he replied, not meeting my eyes.
“Come on,” I said as I pulled him down the hall. “Let’s go somewhere and talk.”
“Not here,” he said when I headed in the direction of his club–room.
“Why?” I asked as he steered us towards the back of the clubhouse.
“Not my room no more,” he told me.
“Wait, what?” I asked, suddenly worried that Karma took things too far like usual.
“Moved all my sh.it, told Karma I didn’t need it anymore,” he replied.
“Okay, I know you sleep with me every night, but what about your stuff?” I said. “You have a whole computer set up and all your clothes, and-”
“Yes baby, I still have a place of my own. I didn’t just make myself homeless,” he cut me off to say, laughing lightly. “Moved all my stuff to our place. I finished painting my room over a week ago. Started moving sh.it in this week. It’s a mess right now, but we can go there to have a bit of peace and quiet.”
“Okay,” I replied, suddenly feeling giddy.
I let CG pull me all the way to our home. Ours. Home. For us. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of saying that or hearing it.
Dragon and I have started to paint some of the rooms. The kitchen is completely done now, along with the living room, dining room, and a few other rooms. Thanks to all the help we have around. Maybe lockdown isn’t so bad. We still have my room to paint, and the guys have been handling their own rooms. After we’re done painting and lockdown finally gets lifted, Dragon said we could all go shopping for anything and everything I want for the house. I think I’m mostly excited about picking stuff out with them. Something all our own. A house full of a mix of us. Our lives entwined together.
“Oh, wow, you weren’t kidding about it being a mess,” I said once CG and I were in his room. He has boxes and clothes everywhere. His computer stuff is all sitting on a desk with cords lying everywhere. All plugged in, but a complete mess. He painted the walls a deep purple color that I absolutely love and goes so good with the dark–wood floors. It’s so fitting for my Tae.
All of their rooms are very spacious. I tried telling CG he could claim the room next to his as an office for all his computer stuff, but he said it wasn’t necessary. Something about how his room will be more of a closet than a bedroom. Since he plans to be with me every single night.
How did I get so lucky to have them all?
“You can sit on the bed, Fireball,” CG said. “Made sure there was room on that
I smirked at him as I sat on the edge of his bed. I was surprised to see it made up since he sleeps with me every night. His bed is the only thing in here that looks p There are boxes, bags, clothes, and cords throughout the room. It’s messy in a cluttered–still–unpacking kind of way.
“So, you want to talk about what’s bothering you?” I asked as CG sat on the chair in front of his computer desk. He was facing me, but I was highly disappointed that he didn’t sit beside me.
“Listened to Evander’s apology like you wanted,” he replied, his voice monotone.
