In The Primordial Genesis Shore, the settlement of ancient Ginnu Lifeforms continued its bustling activity as something exceptional was about to unfold.
The entity that Ul’moreth had stood before and chosen for Noah to fight against was being brought out from confinement.
A THE Surface Depth of Absolute Sovereignty Ginnu Lifeform, their malformed body rippling with concentrated authority, opened the cage reinforced by Logos and extracted the prisoner with chains of obsidian light.
The entity being released possessed the form of a human with a completely bald head and torn white robes that suggested monastic origins. A set of round purple rosaries was wrapped around his neck, completing the appearance of a warrior monk who had seen better days.
His eyes crackled continuously with purple lightning, the energy dancing across his irises with contained violence. Tendrils of lightning coursed over his fair skin in intricate patterns, creating a network of electrical pathways that pulsed with his heartbeat.
The eyes of this being were filled with extreme caution even as he was released from the cage. With his senses no longer obscured by the linguistic bindings, he could now feel the terrifying cluster of power concentrated in this settlement.
Many Ginnu Lifeforms surrounded the arena area, and he could sense with absolute certainty that they could all thrash him individually without tremendous effort.
Especially the hairy entity looking toward him with silent assessment.
A single casual slap from that particular creature felt like it could end his Existence completely.
Noah looked at this being with analytical focus as he activated his Lens of Civilization to examine his opponent.
A status sheet bloomed before his vision, half of the information clearly visible while the other half remained obscured behind question marks.
Name: Raijin Katsuro
Titles: THE Monk of Ten Thousand Storms and The Purple Lightning Ascetic
Classification: THE Surface Depth of Absolute Sovereignty
Way: The Way of Heavenly Lightning
Genesis Principles: ???
Singularity Principles: ???
Grand Principles: ???
Weaknesses: ???
Additional Information: ???
Noah looked at this partially revealed information with genuine surprise.
He had not expected to see any information at all on someone who had veiled themselves, especially someone at THE classification. But his Lens of Civilization seemed to be advancing alongside his overall Existence.
Even now, the terrifying Phonemes of The First Tongue were flowing continuously across his Existence in automated practice, elevating THE Foundation of The First Tongue and accelerating the development of THE Organ of Civilization.
He currently felt exuberant with building power as at this time, Ul’moreth stepped forward toward the imprisoned entity who would serve as his opponent.
The ancient Ginnu Lifeform’s presence radiated overwhelming authority as he addressed Raijin Katsuro directly with intent to be understood.
"Listen carefully to the terms of your release," Ul’moreth began with voice carrying absolute dominance. "If you fight one hundred battles in this arena, battles where you demonstrate your full capabilities without holding back, you can go free. Your sentence will be considered served and you may leave Ginnungagap entirely if you wish."
"Your opponent for this particular battle will be a Pre-THE Existence. But you need to fight with absolute full power as if you are facing anyone else at your Scale or higher. If you hold back in any way, if you do not use your complete capabilities, the battle will not count toward your total. And instead of continuing with other opponents, you will have to fight with me next."
BOOM!
The threat hung heavy in the air.
Raijin Katsuro’s expression became somber and filled with genuine fear as he looked toward Noah with conflicted emotions.
His voice carried cautious concern when he finally spoke.
"What if I accidentally collapse this Pre-THE opponent with my full power? Surely fighting at THE level against someone below that Scale will result in their immediate destruction. I do not wish to needlessly end an Existence."
Ul’moreth’s reply came with calm indifference.
"Nothing of consequence will happen to you if you collapse your opponent. Just fight with all your power as instructed. If you collapse your opponent, then you collapse your opponent. That is acceptable."
...!
Raijin Katsuro’s expression became even more grim as the implications settled over him.
This young entity apparently stood among the Ginnu Lifeforms with enough favor that they would be completely okay if he was collapsed in this arena? Get the fuck out of here. Collapsing him would likely be collapsing a Ginnu Lifeform.
And it was Pre-THE versus THE classification. What result did they realistically expect apart from complete one-sided domination?
The entire situation felt designed to humiliate him.
Ul’moreth laughed jovially at the prisoner’s obvious distress as he waved dismissively.
"Do not worry too much about the details. Just go and fight!"
With such words, Ul’moreth waved his hairy hand with casual gesture.
Obsidian gold light wrapped around both Noah and Raijin Katsuro as they were both instantly deposited on opposite ends of the arena floor.
Noah took a moment to observe his surroundings with enhanced perception.
This ancient and archaic arena possessed a deceptively simple construction. The floor appeared smooth and was seemingly made from some type of wood, though Noah suspected the material was far more sophisticated than it appeared.
The walls rising around the arena’s perimeter were constructed from the same material, creating an enclosed space that felt both primitive and incredibly advanced simultaneously.
He heard Ul’moreth’s voice speaking directly into his mind at this moment through their connection.
Many of the Logos you see are similar to what I showed you on the prison cages, as the arena itself was designed to be nearly indestructible and completely contain whatever forces are unleashed within it.
The first major Logos woven throughout the floor and walls combines the Phonemes of Earth, Order, and Unity. It establishes the principle of absolute structural integrity, ensuring that all components of the arena maintain cohesion regardless of the forces applied to them. The wood you see is not truly wood but compressed Existence shaped into this form and held together by linguistic authority.
The second Logos, glowing faintly throughout the structure, uses Space, Division, and Beginning. It grants the arena qualities of spatial expansion so that even though it appears to be merely a few dozen meters in diameter when inactive, when properly activated it transforms into its own isolated domain that extends for Gigaparsecs in all directions. You and your opponent will have essentially unlimited space to battle without constraints.
The third Logos combines Void, Ending, and Darkness. It ensures that all power erupting within the arena’s boundaries is completely contained inside its periphery and cannot escape or be directly observed by those watching from outside. We will see what occurs through the arena’s own perception filters, but the actual forces involved will not reach us. This protects spectators while allowing combatants to fight without worrying about collateral damage.
The fourth Logos uses Time, Order, and Life. It maintains proper causality within the domain and prevents temporal manipulation from disrupting the flow of battle. It also includes regenerative properties that slowly repair any damage that does manage to affect the structure itself.
There are seven other Logos inscribed here with various purposes, but those are the primary ones you need to understand. This arena is essentially a living construct designed specifically to facilitate battles between THE level entities without destroying the surrounding settlement.
Ul’moreth’s voice took on more serious tone as he continued.
Your enemy will fight at full power, and they absolutely should for this to be a real battle worth learning from. They should not be able to collapse you too quickly because the fundamental mismatch will be partially bridged by your use of The First Tongue. But I cannot guarantee your survival, Little Anomaly.
If I see you on the very edge of complete and irreversible collapse, I will intervene and end the battle immediately. But if you are collapsing just a tiny bit, if you are merely injured or damaged but still capable of continuing, I may leave you be and allow the struggle to continue. After all, you have to learn how to fly by being pushed from the nest. You have to struggle genuinely to grow meaningfully.
At this moment, Ul’moreth’s voice suddenly echoed out across the entire arena and settlement with amplified authority.
Alright, alright everyone! A genuinely interesting match is about to begin! Pay close attention!
Ul’moreth floated above the arena’s center with commanding presence as he addressed the assembled crowd in calm and dominant fashion.
Today, you will witness something extraordinarily rare! A violation of conventional understanding itself as an entity that has not attained any Depth of Absolute Sovereignty whatsoever goes against one who has reached THE Surface Depth! This type of matchup almost never occurs because the outcome seems predetermined. But circumstances today allow for this exception, and it will be educational for all of you to pay very close attention to how this battle unfolds!
