Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse novel Chapter 4725

Chapter 4725: Against A Legend! II

A great man once said that those who cling to death, live, and those who cling to life, die.

To live, one had to be ruthless and ready for death at any moment.

To live and thrive in the post-apocalyptic age of THE Fallout, one had to be utterly obscene and prepared for death to come knocking at any time without warning or mercy.

For Noah, it was a simple thing as he was already ruthless and ready for death if it came, had been ready since the first apocalypse came to his tiny blue planet and taught him that existence cared nothing for fairness or justice or the desperate hopes of those who wished to survive!

Every being across existence lived and died, and he had not met any that were impervious to this fact yet, not THE Entities at the highest levels nor the primordial beings that had existed since before differentiation nor even the legends whose names were spoken in whispers across countless realms.

Even THE Primordial Paradox was collapsed, right?!

And THE Living Spirit...

He wanted to see if he could institute this reality for it.

So defiant against the Declaration this being had laid down, defiant against the authority that had smashed him from the skies and forced him into a crater, he rose up against it through sheer will and weight as he breathed out slowly.

"Hoo..."

Everything slowed down.

When Noah looked up, he saw the cold eyes of THE Living Spirit as the entity gazed down at him with the calm fury of something that had been shown disrespect by a creature it considered beneath notice.

He saw Gal’Thûrak behind and to the side, the demon spirit’s seven eyes wide with an ashen expression as he felt his own Depth diminished, as he recognized what the Fragment of THE Axiom of Mayhem had done to him, and this being who had called himself THE Terror of Chains actually scrambled backward through the burning air as if distance could save him from what was coming.

Noah saw all of this with clarity that seemed to stretch each moment into eternity, and he raised his left hand with an expression becoming immensely calm, the kind of calm that preceded storms and catastrophes and the ending of things that had seemed eternal. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

On his raised hand, a bow began to form.

Blue-gold light crystallized from the ambient Mana of Muspelheim, weaving itself into a weapon that seemed less crafted and more grown, a bow of such elegant lethality! The limbs curved with mathematical perfection, inscribed with Phonemes of The First Tongue that blazed with authority, and the string that connected them thrummed with tension that spoke of violence yearning to be released.

Noah used his right hand to pull on the bow string, his fingers finding their position with the ease of someone who had done this countless times before, and as he drew the string back toward his cheek, a radiant blue-gold arrow began to form between his grip and the bow itself.

The arrow’s edge was sharp beyond sharpness, pointed directly toward THE Living Spirit with intent that could not be mistaken for anything other than murder.

How could he be as ruthless as possible here?

The answer was already burning in his mind as he considered his assets, his Thesis that had been actualized, his enemies who could barely access The First Tongue due to that very Thesis, and the opportunity that lay before him like a banquet waiting to be devoured.

His voice echoed out calmly as he declared a new Thesis while tugging at every last drop of immensity he had left within him, building upon the foundation he had already established with brilliance that bordered on cruelty.

"My arrow chains and severs upon all those that can barely access The First Tongue."

...!

His eyes burned with ingenuity as he worked on an already built Thesis to declare such a devastatingly simple proposition, using the restrictions he had already imposed as the framework for something even more horrific!

His enemies could barely access The First Tongue because of his earlier Thesis.

And now his arrow would chain between them, would sever their Ways and their Civilizations with the inevitability of a sentence that had already been written.

His eyes remained locked on THE Living Spirit as he let loose the bow string with a motion that seemed almost gentle, almost casual, as if he were not about to commit an act of mass devastation that would echo across this primordial realm.

OOOOOH!
