Capítulo 4735: Harvests! IV
He could match the foundation of others, but he was not content in merely doing just that.
THE Creature and THE Primordial Chaos had their own foundations in their own time as they reached heights that only they could reach because of the foundations they had built. They had climbed to peaks that seemed unreachable, had achieved things that seemed impossible, had become synonymous with power itself because of what they had accumulated during their ascent!
But if Noah proceeded to build something that even they had not built before, his own accomplishments and his own glorious weavings of existence would even come to exceed them.
Matching legends was merely the first step.
Surpassing them was the goal!
The Logos and Philologies of The First Tongue all around him vibrated with immensity as they seemed to agree in fervor, the very language of reality resonating with ambitions that it found worthy of acknowledgment!
As he was having such thoughts, the figure of THE Esteemed Whisperer floated over with the other Fundamental Depth Muspeli Lifeform, their forms burning with sandy and linguistic flames respectively as they brought the glorious object that had been at the center of the citadel of flames they had protected for eons beyond counting.
Behind them, the other Muspeli Lifeforms that had been protected and watching the battle from a distance came forward in what could only be described as a procession of ancient entities.
Multiple Intermediate Depth Muspeli Giants whose forms burned with variations of obsidian and gold flame.
Multiple Surface Depth Muspeli Lifeforms whose bodies ranged from towering humanoids to serpentine creatures of pure fire to beings whose shapes defied easy categorization.
They all came forward as if participating in a ceremony that had been rehearsed across eons of waiting.
They looked toward Noah with doubt and analysis, as if they were measuring up the entity that many of them had not thought of before today.
Because what the entity who laid claim to The First Tongue represented was something of major importance to most of these giant lifeforms. Vut only the most powerful ones, the Protectors and their closest advisors, truly understood what such a thing meant for existence itself.
The rest had only basal rudimentary knowledge, simply knowing the legends of figures like THE Creature or THE Primordial Chaos eventually finding their way and claiming aspects of existence before returning to Muspelheim to receive acknowledgment.
So it looked like a procession of ancient beings that were both examining and elevating the brilliance of THE Genesis Monarch, their gazes carrying curiosity and skepticism and hope in equal measure.
Noah smiled calmly and took this all in stride as he looked at the object that THE Esteemed Whisperer was bringing.
And without him even realizing it…
The figure of Galileo and Duke appeared inches away from him with casual ease that spoke of speed beyond normal perception!
The small lifeform that was Galileo continued to look at him up and down as if he was still assessing Noah, those large eyes sparkling with intelligence that belied his fluffy appearance.
Meanwhile, the figure of Duke sniffed Noah with a wet nose that radiated warmth, and then his tongue lapped out in what could only be described as enthusiastic greeting!
The golden dog came forward to nudge him, moving around his body like a neon light of pure excitement, circling and weaving with speed that made tracking his position nearly impossible.
Noah’s hand reached out to pat this dog, but he couldn’t lock onto its position!
Every time his fingers approached where Duke had been, the Muspeli Lifeform had already moved to a different location, his speed truly approaching what Galileo had claimed.
It was only when Duke chose to stop in front of him with shining flaming neon eyes did the golden retriever bring his head forward with tongue lolling and tail wagging.
Noah’s hand finally made contact, his fingers sinking into fur that was simultaneously soft and warm and thrumming with ridiculously pure Mana, and he scratched behind those golden ears as Duke’s tail wagged with even greater intensity.
Galileo watched this interaction with satisfaction.
“He is simple-minded in nature and doesn’t have any complex thoughts apart from being told that in the future, his grand Master would arrive and unlock his true potential.”
His deep voice carried fondness for his longtime companion.
“He is supposed to be the mount of The One Who Laid The Claim, as he was born in the fires of Muspelheim in concentrated Philologies of The First Tongue. His speed is merely the surface of what he could become.”
…!
Oh?
A uniquely mutated simple-minded creature that The One Who Laid Claim to The First Tongue could unlock the full potential of?
Noah noted this down for later as he smiled at the thought of riding on a dog instead of something that one would routinely think of as a mount. It was unconventional, perhaps even absurd, but he had long since stopped caring about convention!
But at this moment, he kept his gaze on the object that THE Esteemed Whisperer brought as around him, the figures of THE Infiniverse, Sigrid, Riya, The First Farmer, and others also gathered nearby with shining eyes.
