Kneeling for a Second Chance (Sebastian and Valeria) novel Chapter 245

Shane stood up. He was slightly shorter compared to Sebastian, and he lacked the commanding and dignified presence someone who grew up in high society would have.

Instead, Shane merely looked at his watch and said, "It's getting late, so I need to bring Lenny home."

Shane took a few steps forward before adding, "Thank you, Mr. Grant, for your generous gift."

Seeing that Shane was about to take Selena away, Sebastian instinctively wanted to follow them.

However, when Sebastian saw how natural Selena was as she got in Shane's car, he sat back down helplessly.

Sebastian had never been there for Selena for the past seven years. That realization was like a stab to his heart.

"Mr. Cooper, did you have a fight with Mr. Grant?" Selena asked.

Shane answered, "No, I didn't."

"Both of you didn't look very happy just now," Selena scoffed.

"Did I look unhappy?" Shane looked at the rearview mirror. Due to his calm and composed temperament, he rarely showed his anger on his face. Not to mention, he wasn't even angry just now.

"Mr. Grant looked very unhappy," Selena took a sip of her smoothie and chewed on the bits of fruit mixed inside.

Shane was slightly surprised. "Do you like Mr. Grant?"

"I do."

"What about me?" Shane asked again.

"I like you too."

"Then, Lenny, who do you like more, me or Mr. Grant?"Shane was just asking casually, and he couldn't help but marvel at the pull blood ties had.
